This was a great story with a unique storyline. Moms will be moms! This mother/daughter tale takes us thru a series of conversations of marriage and superstition which turns out to be fact. The narration was excellent and you could feel each character's emotions. Athough it was a short story, Audible produced a great story!! I would highly recommend it!

After reading the first book, I was excited to read the sequel. It fell short for me for several reasons. Descriptive scenes were over done and took too much time to get through so much so that the action scenes became anticlimactic. Also, the protagonist of the story lost her edge and never really regained it which made story and her actions become too childlike and unbelievable. What I did love about the book was the narrator. Rose did a fantastic job with her characters. Overall, the read fell short for me.
