Wasn't able to become fully immersed in the story as I struggled a bit with the narration...though nothing that would stop me from recommending it. Great story! Really enjoyed the characters and the rather original storyline.

Maximoff Hale is a force of nature. A ship unwilling to be steered. Headstrong, resilient, and wholly responsible - the 22-year-old alpha billionaire can handle his unconventional life. Born into one of the most famous families in the country, his celebrity status began at birth. He is certified American royalty. When he's assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, he comes face-to-face with the worst case scenario: being attached to the tattooed, MMA-trained, Yale graduate who's known for "going rogue" in the security team - and who fills 1/3 of Maximoff's sexual fantasies.

I really enjoyed this story and really loved all of the characters and the relationships., But I sincerely can't get past how bad the female voices are done by Cendese. Someone please get him training in female voices, because I enjoy his male voice but honestly I'm ready to avoid all of his productions because of the female always sounding like an idiot.

Number one thing worth mentioning... Nick J. Russo is a GOD among narrators. This is the second book of his that I have listened to and both times I've been blown away. His vocal and age span range in this story and the amazing talent he shows absolutely transports you into the story. I can't rave more about his narration.

Secondly, this book is just delightful! I love the characters and how the relationship develops. Though there is a tough point in the story it isn't all angsty and it's resolved without any ridiculous situations. And the sex scenes were hot AF!

Worth spending a credit even if you've never read the author. You won't regret it.

Wow, what an amazing audiobook! This is totally not my usual kind of read but a GR/FB friend recommended it so I couldn't resist. I am so glad I listened to that recommendation because this was a thoroughly enjoyable listen and story. The characters in this story and relationships built were rich and so satisfying. Seeing the growth of Hazel was wonderful. I'm not great at reviews, but it's a must listen so I had to at least put words to how much I loved this. I enjoyed the narration too, as she made each characters voice true to their personality. Hell, she even nailed Atticus' changing voice from puppy to elderly dog! Worth a credit!

I don't know what I was thinking when I hired someone to attack me. Maybe I was bored, or lonely, or there was a void so deep inside of me that I needed something explosive to fill it. It was supposed to be safe. A thrill. A way to break through the monotony of everyday life. It was an illusion of danger that I could walk away from as soon as it was over. Except that it wasn't.

This is one of my favorite books. I enjoyed the female narrator but felt the male narrator was a bit over dramatic, but it didn't ruin the book at all. The sample is awful (her friends voice sounds ridiculous) but don't let it stop you from purchasing it, as the audio is much better than that sample.

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

First off, this book is worth listening to for the narrators alone. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton absolutely kill it in this book! Their presence alone makes this a must buy.

As to the story, I loved the characters Amy created and found myself chuckling out loud when others were around (yeah, that's a tad embarrassing) because some of the banter was so good. I'm hoping the two side characters we met will get their own books because she really made them compelling.
