This is Alan Roger Currie’s most comprehensive audiobook yet. I would recommend that if the gals listen to just one audiobook of Alan’s, this should be the one they listen to. For the guys, I think this should be the first or second audiobook that they listen to. I happen to be one of Alan’s few female listeners who has listened to and reviewed each of his four audiobooks, and this one doesn’t disappoint. This audiobook will make listeners better understand why Alan wrote his other books, Mode One, The Possibility of Sex, and Oooooh … Say it again.

In this audiobook, Alan expresses that he believes marriage simply does not have the same appeal for men that it did prior to 1960. If not worldwide, at least in the United States. Alan believes there are just way too many dishonest and adulterous men in the world, and even many more dishonest, manipulative, and adulterous women in the world. Alan doesn’t so much blame men or women, but rather he places the blame squarely on the flawed concept of obligatory monogamy and marriage itself. Alan believes that natural, organic, completely voluntary monogamy works out better for couples than forced or obligatory monogamy.

Also, Alan bluntly dispels the myth that all gals are only looking to connect with polite gentlemen, and go out of their way to avoid interactions with the bad boys and womanizing cads. Alan refers to the polite gentlemen as ‘beta males’ and the womanizing cads as ‘alpha males.’ I can say as a woman that most women don’t want a bad boy as a husband or steady partner, but for a casual shagging here and there, many of us women love the aggressive, masculine, and extremely dominant and kinky nature of the bad boy types.

I feel that the gals who listen to this audiobook are going to be left with mixed feelings, particularly if they aspire to be married someday. Some gals will learn new things from this audiobook about the overall mentality of men and their myriad of egotistical insecurities, while other ladies will criticize some of Alan’s strong opinions about women’s manipulative and materialistic behavior and his seemingly strong disdain for marriage, monogamy, and platonic friendships between men and women. I think all of the guys who listen to this audiobook will gain a better understanding about how some women operate and play games with men. Personally, I think this is Alan’s best audiobook for both the guys and the gals to listen to and learn from.

Alan Roger Currie, the author and narrator of this audiobook, would be making a huge mistake to market this audiobook strictly to men like he did with his first two audiobooks (I have now listened to all three of them). I really feel that this audiobook allows women to learn just as much about men’s sexual mindset toward women as it allows men to learn about women’s sexual mindset toward men. I believe all of my single girlfriends would want to listen to this audiobook (women will be very turned on by verbal seduction story #1 and #3 in Part Two of the audiobook, and probably story #2 and #6 as well).

Alan has a unique knack for getting men and women to understand each other’s behavior in a very simple fashion. When you listen to Alan, some of the behavior of the opposite sex that you once perceived as complex or complicated all of the sudden makes sense to you. You find yourself thinking to yourself, “Oh, I get it now! I understand why he / she behaves like that!”

Why do men view some women as ‘good girls’ and other women as promiscuous slags and materialistic, gold-digging whores? Alan answers this question. Why are some men able to seduce a woman into having sex with them very quickly without investing a lot of time or money, while another man will spend large amounts of money on a woman, spend a lot of his free time with her, and even offer her a promise of marital monogamy, and still find himself in a woman’s platonic friend zone? Alan answers this question for men as well.

Alan divides women into five sexual categories: The 1s are women who are extremely kinky, very promiscuous, and they never attempt to hide these qualities from men who they find attractive. The 5s are women who are just the opposite: extremely sexually conservative and only willing to have sex within the context of marriage. Alan suggests that these are the two extremes, and that most women fall somewhere in the middle (the 2s, 3s, and 4s). He refers to the 2s, 3s, and 4s as ‘Wholesome Pretenders.’

Alan’s audiobook is both educational (Part One) and HOT (Part Two). A rare combination for a personal development oriented audiobook. Five stars for the men’s dating coach and women’s sex advisor who is referred to as ‘The KING of Verbal Seduction’!!

In his second audiobook release, The Possibility of Sex: How Naive and Lustful Men are Manipulated by Women Regularly, Book Author Alan Roger Currie once again highlights the fact that when a man expresses his romantic or sexual desires, interests and intentions to women in a very cautious, vague, ambiguous, or "beat-around-the-bush" manner, he potentially opens himself up to be misled and taken advantage of by women who are shrewd, savvy, highly experienced manipulators of men.

What did you love best about The Possibility of Sex?

In Alan's first audiobook, he highlighted the weaknesses of men's behavior toward women, and he explained just how dishonest and manipulative men can be toward women. In his second audiobook, he turns the tables and describes in detail how dishonest, misleading and manipulative women can be toward men. Being a woman myself, I know firsthand that there are really good women looking for a good man, and there are really scandalous women out here looking to take advantage of naive, unsuspecting men.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Possibility of Sex?

Alan points out that in the same way many men will 'pretend' to want nothing more than platonic friendship from a woman, when in reality they want to have sex with that woman, many women do just the opposite. They will pretend like have an interest in having sex with a man (either in the context of relationship or casually), but in reality, they just want to collect a high number of male platonic friends. I believe if a woman only wants to be 'just friends' with a man, she should let a man know that from the very beginning.

What does Alan Roger Currie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Just like Alan's first audiobook, Mode One, my only minor criticism would be that he uses quite a bit of X-rated language and profanity (but I am used to it now!). My compliment for Alan is that he never minces words or holds back on telling the truth about both men's behavior and women's behavior as it relates to dating and relationships. He is a bold truth-teller. I do not think men or women under the age of 17 should be listening to Alan's audiobooks though.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Like Alan's first audiobook, most of the content is definitely geared toward educating men, but that said, it was also an enlightening and entertaining listen for me as a woman as well. If nothing else, it made me think more objectively about just how manipulative women can be with men. Most women I know have the tendency to only concentrate on the undesirable behavior of men, but the reality is, members of both sexes have strengths and weaknesses in their character and behavior.

Any additional comments?

Not only would I agree that the average man would be turned off by a woman who is a 'Timewaster,' a Gold Digger, a Man Thief, a Drama Queen, a Misandrist, or a Liar / Cheater, but I believe most good women also hate other women who fall into these categories as well!! (bad women make it more

As a man, when you decide that you want to express your romantic or sexual desires, interests, and intentions to a woman, how do you go about communicating those desires and interests to her? Do you communicate your desires and interests to women in a cautious, vague, ambiguous, or "beat around the bush" manner? Do you avoid approaching women and avoid initiating conversations with women altogether?

What did you love best about Mode One?

Hearing Author Alan Roger Currie speak - it certainly makes it more real than the print version as you can really get what he is trying to say.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mode One?

I am not the biggest fan of one-night stands, weekend flings, or other various forms of casual sex, but at least Mr. Currie is encouraging all men to be honest and upfront with women in those instances when they know all they want from a woman is few days or weeks of casual sex. Alan also talks about how many women (Pretenders is what he calls them) will pretend as though they are not interested in casual sex, when they really are. He also talks about women who pretend to be interested in sex with a man, when they are really not (time wasters). I think I have known women over the years in both categories!

What about Alan Roger Currie’s performance did you like?

Author Alan Roger Currie's narration is what makes the audiobook worth listening to. I am not sure that his listeners and followers would have enjoyed this audiobook if Alan did not narrate it himself. Overall, you can hear the passion Alan has for helping men be more successful with women, and explaining why they should not resort to lies and head games with women

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

All of the content of the audiobook was worth listening to. Most of it was for men, but as a woman listening, it was very enlightening and educational for me as well. I learned about Mode Three Timids, Mode Three Targets, and I think every woman has run into a Mode Three Liar and Cheater. What was scary was hearing about the Mode Four Misogynist.

I really loved the last three chapters and the frequently asked questions section. Those four chapters of the audiobook were equally valuable for men and for women. No one will be bored at all listening to Alan talk in those four sections. He speaks with a lot of conviction and charisma.

Any additional comments?

As a woman, I thought there would be more content included that I would disagree with, but I have to say, this audiobook contained a lot of truth to it. There was just not much you can disagree with what Alan said. His message is very timely given the state of affairs in today's dating arena.

The only minor criticism I had was Alan's use of profanity at times and X-rated explicit language here and there, but other than that, this was a great listen. I would highly recommend this audiobook to both men and women alike. Alan even has some ready-made notes available for his male listeners.
