It was a hot summer day when I met him on the construction site next to my parents' house. If I'd known then what I do now, would I have kept on walking? Manning was older, darker, experienced--and I'd trusted him when he said the story would only ever be about us. I'd held those words close and challenged fate, but I had lost. A part of me is still that sixteen-year-old girl squinting up at Manning, but no matter how far I fall or high I soar, I'll always be a bird without her bear and nothing without him.

Awesome continuation in the saga, but if you listen/read it first it can be a stand-a-lone and not miss out on the main points of history, but listening/reading each book individually is sooooo worth it! I can't wait for the fourth and final book in this epic saga.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. Warning - this story contains subject material that is of a sensitive matter (child sexual abuse), so if this upsets you, this story isn't for you. That being said, this story is a roller-coaster ride of emotions and written well. The narration is in Duet-Style and done very well. I prefer duet-style narration when there is two POV's of opposite sex, and Tor Thom & Charley Ongel provide a great performance. This is my first experience with Michelle Dare as a writer and she didn't disappoint.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. This was my first experience with Jayne Frost as an author, but I was interested in giving her work a try since I already love Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan as narrators. Jayne didn't disappoint and has me now interested in the rest of the series. I had already gotten book 1 free from Kindle on Amazon, but haven't gotten around to reading it, and it's not on audiobook yet, so I will have to find some time to read it or hope it gets released to audio soon. The 2nd book in the series is on audiobook but is narrated by a narrator I don't know. I listened to the preview and aren't sure I'll like him to listen to or not, so may have to get the ebook instead. Unfortunately, the last book in the series isn't on audiobook either, so I may just have to read it too, even though I'm a primarily audiobook listener. Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan did an excellent job performing these characters and bringing them to life like I would expect from them. You can bet that if you have great narrators like these perform your audiobooks, I'm most likely to give your work a try if your an unknown author to me. I loved this story and the characters and can't wait to experience more from Jayne Frost.

I’ve always been the person that does whatever someone tells me I can’t. Can’t graduate with a four-point-oh? Check. Can’t win a modeling contract without trying? Did it. Check. Can’t make it in the pro football league? Triple check with an MVP Award on top. When my best friend told me to stay away from his little sister, Layla, it didn’t sound like a challenge. Then again, I’d never seen her before. He obviously wasn’t thinking about who he was talking to if he believed I could ignore her.

This was my first experience with Adriana Locke even-though I have purchased several of her audiobooks (but haven't gotten around to listening to them yet) and have many of them in my wishlist. I loved this very entertaining sports romance story and now look forward to moving up her other books in my TBR list. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott always do an excellent job as a Duet Narrating Duo Team. They are very entertaining and bring characters and their world to life. I loved the characters in this story so much that I hope Adriana Locke writes more of the characters in other stories. I highly recommend this audiobook and look forward to more from both the author and the narrators.

This was my second series experience with Erika Wilde and I'm just loving her work more and more. I was excited to realize this series is the prelude to my first series experience with Erika Wilde, The Players Club. This audiobook and series didn't have to be read/listened to prior to the other series, but I have actually gone back and started a re-listen to The Players Club upon finishing this series. I purchased books 5 & 6 of The Marriage Diaries. Lia Langola once again does a great job bringing Erika's characters and world to life. Lia grabs on to you and holds on tight through the whole experience. You can easily get swept away by her performance that you feel you are apart of the story and experiencing everything right along with her performance. Lia Langola is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators and one I look for her work when searching for a new listen. Even if I don't know the author, I'll be willing to give an audiobook a try if Lia is one of the narrators since her performances have never disappointed me yet. I highly recommend this audiobook, Erika Wilde as an Erotica Romance author and Lia Langola as a must listen audiobook performer.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I've never known this author prior to this audiobook listen and review and honestly probably wouldn't have purchased this audiobook if the narrator wasn't one of my favorites. I have found that if I find a narrator that I love, I will take a chance on an unknown to me author. Since I knew the narrator and already love her work, I was happy to listen and review this audiobook and was happy to find a great CLEAN Military Romance. Now that I've found Jessica James and her excellent writing skills, I will be keeping my eye out for more of her work and hope to find her audiobooks are narrated by a great narrator. I've listened and reviewed too many not so great authors and when the narrators are sub-par, it just gets worse so that I'm not as eager to listen and review just anything any longer. Sometimes a great narrator can even make an okay writing job sound great and still be enjoyable, but sometimes nothing can make it better. This audiobook was both great writing and great narration and very enjoyable. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Great Shorter Listen Story. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. This was a different story line than what I'm used to with Marla Josephs' writing, but loved it all the same. The narrator was totally unknown to me and I was worried if I would like her narrating style, but I was pleasantly surprised and thought she did an excellent job performing this 3rd person POV shorter story. The listen was just over 4 hours and was great for something shorter to listen to in between series. The story was realistic and very entertaining and kept me engaged till the end. I actually found myself wanting more from these characters at the end. I highly recommend this audiobook.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. This was my first experience with A.M. Johnson work and found the storyline to be very different from your typical 2nd Chance Romances. The touch of supernatural or behavior health, depending on how you want to look at it was something new for me to discover in a story and found it very interesting. The writer had me hooked till the very end. The narrating team of Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock have had several recent releases that just keep getting better. They are a great narrating team and do an excellent job of bringing the story and characters to life. I can listen to these narrators again and again and continue to enjoy what ever works an author puts before them. I'm interested in the second book in this series but a little unsure about purchasing it since it's performed by two narrators I'm not familiar with. Narrators can make or break a book, I'm always eager to take a chance on a new author if I know the narrators and enjoy their work, but even if I know an author, I can be unsure of spending money on an audiobook if I don't know the narrators. This audiobook is highly recommended.
