Izzie and Trevors story much better. The connection was started in book 1 and comes to light in this story. Elle did a good job peaking your interest and coming through with their romance in this tale. The story it could have been a little more edging. And towards the middle Izzie does seem to lose some of her sassy. Which is what makes her an interesting character. It good to see Trevor put his alpha big boy pants on again. The overall story was soft in places but entertaining thus the rating. And again Elle does a good job of preparing the back story of some of the characters you want to hear more about. So yes I will be downloading book 4. Not the best special ops romance but entertaining enough if you have a credit. And Allyson is improving with her narration.

Not sure why Luke was the subject of this next installment. For me he was one of the least interesting characters from the first book. But worst is the love interest Olivia. It was like Elle pulled her out of a hat. The romance fell flat. But I will the interplay for the rest of the cast in this series was good. I'll hang in for book three to see if there is improvement

This was a very entertaining special ops romance. There was enough romance mixed with action to keep the story interesting and to actual have me looking forward to the next installment. Abby is a strong female lead and for the most part doesn't end up being a a dumb bimbo in the end. Which often happens with the alpha romances. It was nice to see Elle introduce potentially strong female leads for future installments. Yes the men are alpha and Kane stays true to this trait. Steaming romance level fits this book. And doesn't go over the top. Narrator was okay not great but did not take away from the story. Escapism for a credit

Honestly there are no real words to say just how bad this book is. Cute no, what is cute about a billionaire letting his wife literally walk all over him,. Not just once but multi times. You have to wonder how he became a billionaire. And this has nothing to do with honor or keeping vows. It's just stupid.
The female lead is just week.
But I will say where have all the good or decent narrators gone. What's up audible?
This one is one of many lately that is really bad. I can enjoy a cute light romance if it is well written and narrated with some feeling. Warning do waste your time.

I think this is the best one of the series so far. We new Darcy's story was coming. And maybe because I like female characters with edge. And the alpha males that have the guts to love them. I enjoyed the characters and Karen White as dead on with the narrations.
This is a good romance if you enjoy Ms Shalvis.

Bree Simpson story I did like better than the first book. Again not Amy's best. I think I would have preferred Karen White as the narrator. But Bree's determination makes for a good listen. I will say Kathleen still seems to be rushing through these stories. But for a fun simple romance and because I really do like Kathleen Brooks I enjoyed this book. It is not for everyone. It's a simple romance

I enjoyed the simplicity of Kathleen Brooks Bluegrass series. She created engaging characters. She continues with Women of Power. But I was hoping for a little more. The female lead falls oh so fast and the romance is rushed. But I am hoping that book 2 is better. I enjoy the premise of woman taking the lead.
I am not a fan of how Amy McFadden narrates this story. She is just okay and sometimes the female voices a whiny. Steamy not so much.

Nora does has more engaging trilogies. The story was charming. I would hold off on the purchase unless you simply like Nora Roberts book
