I loved the first two books about Alexander and Elizabeth, but struggled to get through this one. The female narrator was different and just put me to sleep, although I love Shane East.

Four years ago, I lost my virginity on live, streaming television. Too bad I wasn’t awake for it. Three of the four guys in the video shared me. But that fourth guy, who did nothing? That was my boyfriend, Drew. And that was the last time I saw him. Until today, when my father - now on a path to the White House - hired him as head of security for my new team as I return home after four years of “recovering” in an undisclosed location that involved white lab coats, needles, pills, and damage control.

I don't often leave reviews, but this series made me haul my lazy butt to a full-size keyboard to type one.

This is a three-part series: A Harmless Little Game, A Harmless Little Ruse and A Harmless Little Plan. And I absolutely loved each book.

These books were well worth the price. In fact, if I had read these using the Romance Package option, I would have gone back and paid for them so I could keep the set.

The storyline was unique, and the action / intensity / heat flowed non-stop. I always love these narrators (Sebastian York and Andi Arndt), and they were outstanding again in this series. I'm now searching for other books by Meli Raine.

Turns out there was a second video from that awful night four years ago. Mine wasn't the only tape. Too bad mine wasn't the worst. Drew can’t protect me no matter how hard he tries, but the roles are flipped now. I have to help him, but I’m not wired that way. Not anymore. Three men think they’re above the law. They’re right. But I’m willing to go beneath the law to make sure they never harm anyone else. Their threats don’t scare me. When you have nothing left to lose because someone took it all away, you create the most dangerous creature imaginable: me. Game over.

This is the last of a three-part series: A Harmless Little Game, A Harmless Little Ruse and A Harmless Little Plan.

I absolutely loved the entire series and am now searching for other books by Meli Raine. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are, as usual, one reason this series is so good, but the entire storyline is unique and flows with non-stop action.

No one knows exactly when it began or where it originated. A terrifying new plague is spreading like wildfire across the country, striking cities one by one: Boston, Detroit, Seattle. The doctors call it Draco Incendia Trychophyton. To everyone else it's Dragonscale, a highly contagious, deadly spore that marks its hosts with beautiful black and gold marks across their bodies - before causing them to burst into flames. Millions are infected; blazes erupt everywhere. There is no antidote. No one is safe.

Having listened to the other titles from Joe Hill, I pre-ordered this when it was first listed. I couldn't finish it. It dragged on, I got bored and just finally gave up.
