Music is drummer Tim Chalmers's great escape and the one thing that's never let him down. But his band Spiral's meteoric rise to fame has made it difficult for him to maintain a low profile. Unwanted press pesters him after a public breakup with a volatile ex-girlfriend who loves the limelight as much as he loathes it. Tim's main goal is to avoid confrontation. However, when a handsome stranger in a dive bar turns out to be someone he might know, everything changes.

Ugh, I really disliked this one. I just couldn’t connect with the MC’s and I really really disliked Tim. He is such an ahole the whole time then towards the end he wants to have his way and all is forgiven, ugh that just bugged me. I will repeat again; it I hate Tim!. Seth Clayton did a great job with the narration which is why I even gave this book 2 stars. I’m really sad I hated this story since Lane Hayes is one of my favorite authors I own all of her books and this one is the only one I hated. 😕

Skip thought he had it all: the fabulous husband, the great apartment, and the teaching job he'd always wanted. Even the cat was perfect. When his partner of eight years decides he wants something else-something that doesn't involve Skip or the apartment or even the cat-Skip decides it's time to go home to the other side of the country. However, Skip's hometown doesn't just hold a loving meddling mother but also the memories of his awkward crush on a boy he met his senior year in high school.

Perfect lovely sweet story with just a tiny dash of drama. The narrator was great but my only quip that bothered me was the spanish words when Paul ranted in spanish were done horribly! Like garbled badly, next time practice practice on pronunciation since you are a voice actor Mr. Russo, other than that performance was great I will listen to more of your works :)

Henry Clueley doesn't want to be in Glamour, not after moving far away to overcome a difficult, if privileged, childhood. He's no longer that pudgy kid desperate to escape his hometown, but it still holds painful memories. When his recently widowed mother needs him, however, "dependable Henry" does the right thing - even if it means leaving the IRS to take a boring corporate position. Things don't stay boring for long. Soon Henry helps the local sheriff's department unravel a crime.
