Sofia Salgado's latest case at Maloney Investigations has some pretty tempting ingredients: blackmail, male strippers, and whipped cream. When a friend of Sofia's mom finds herself the victim of blackmail, stuffy Aidan has to go undercover as an exotic dancer, much to Sofia's delight. Can Aidan make it in the cutthroat world of male stripping? Can Sofia stop her mom getting too involved? Does whipped cream have fewer calories when it’s licked from a man’s naked torso?

Another Winner From Cantrell, Black and Mrozek

Overall

Reviewed: 03-10-18

If you like Fun, Entertaining and Easy, I recommend any in the Malibu Mystery Series. The authors add just enough Mystery and Madeline Mrozek does the rest. Ms Mrozek's narration is among the best, especially for this "fun-mystery" genre. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. A Thousand Cuts is a candid exploration of one of America's strangest and most quickly vanishing subcultures. It is about the death of physical film in the digital era and about a paranoid, secretive, eccentric, and sometimes obsessive group of film-mad collectors who made movies and their projection a private religion in the time before DVDs and Blu-rays.

Okay, so what's Bitcoin? It's not an actual coin, it's "cryptocurrency", a digital form of payment that is produced ("mined") by lots of people worldwide. It allows for peer-to-peer transactions instantly worldwide, for free or at very low cost. How does Bitcoin work? Internet users transfer digital assets (bits) to each other on a network. There is no Online bank; rather, Bitcoin has been described as an Internet-wide distributed ledger.

Fun, Easy a little long

Overall

Reviewed: 12-28-17

Bober does a nice job narrating and the book is mostly fun to listen to. A little long and contains a very misleading reference to dog training collars-"choke" collars. As any obedience trainer will tell you, when used correctly a "choke" collar is very helpful and much more humane than a standard collar for training. Other than that criticism, I would recommend the book....I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Blast
