A string of bizarre murders across New Cyber City. For Earth Corps Agent Charlotte McCain, that should have been just another day at the office. But this case felt different. It wasn't just people inexplicably exploding; weird was her business. This one was hitting nerves she'd worked hard to numb. That irritated her almost as much as partnering up with brilliant but troubled Agent Tom Murdoch to solve the mystery before more victims went up in flames.

For Paul and Debbie it was meant to be the happiest time of their lives. A small village wedding in front of their family and friends, followed by a quiet honeymoon in Devon. Not everyone had been happy to see them together. A woman from their past refused to accept it. Her actions over the previous year had ended in tragedy, and had almost broken the happy couple apart. Now, away from it all in a picturesque log cabin, Paul and Debbie look forward to time spent alone together.... But she has found out where they are, and she will stop at nothing to make sure that the marriage is over...forever.

When private investigator Simon Wolfe is hired to follow his friend’s wife under suspicion of adultery, he could never have guessed it would lead him into a friendship with the world’s leading writer, Ernest Hemingway. Nor could he have predicted the strange and disturbing twists the investigation would take. The case accelerates quickly when the wife is found murdered in a Key West hotel and discovered to have a secret life. But that revelation is downright boring as the plot thickens with increasingly bizarre revelations, capped off with a macabre ending no one saw coming.
