Thirty years ago two sisters disappeared from a shopping mall. Their bodies were never found, and those familiar with the case have always been tortured by these questions: How do you kidnap two girls? Who or what could have lured the two sisters away from a busy mall on a Saturday afternoon without leaving behind a single clue or witness? Now a clearly disoriented woman involved in a rush-hour hit-and-run claims to be the younger of the long-gone Bethany sisters.

The plot was interesting and a bit of a slow burn. There was a lot of mystery but not a lot of action, so to speak.

The music was annoying and made it hard to hear the story.

Also, the last few chapters are repeated several times. Also annoying.

The narrator was great and did all kinds of accents fairly well.

I might not repeat this author as the mystery wasn't as mysterious as I would of liked.

It starts off with some blackmail and hacking. Poor Jackson couldn't figure out why he was so attracted to a human, but she was something more.

They both saw death and lost family. They both formed their own weird sense of family.

And I loved that the ending had closure, but wasn't overly tidy either.

Fleur is the youngest sister and the only Berserker bride allowed to choose her mates. She is the strongest and thus sick from Corpse king's minions.

Her mates are unstable and they carry her off. She sees visions of the future and thinks she is dying.

Through her, lots of other spaewives will be saved.

I loved how they cared for her and nursed her back to health.

At first I was a little disappointed that there was only bad male voice but now I'm super happy about it.

He has a wonderful, growly voice. And of course the accent makes it seem more authentic and historical too.

It's very addictive and keeps my attention no problem. And so sad the kids and the last Bird got separated.

Everyone in the city knows who I am: Vincent Citrione, top capo of the most powerful crime family in the city. If you’ve got two brain cells to rub together, you’re scared sh*tless of me. As for women, I give them the hardest, dirtiest f*ck of their lives before showing them the door. They know better than to expect more. Commitments? F*ck ‘em. At least, that was my motto until I caught her snooping in the wrong place at the wrong time. Aubriella. I wanted her to be like all the rest of the girls. I wanted to forget her. This wasn't the darkest mafia romance I've ever read, but it was good.

I was a bit annoyed with the girl's voice and how difficult she was being.

It was so intense but beautiful. Lots of drama and violence. A little overdramatic slu shaming in the beginning, but still good.
