On the day of his birth the dead walked and society crumbled. His mother took one look at him and pronounced him Meat. He survived, she didn't. Fourteen years have passed and obscurity means survival in an increasingly dangerous world. For the survivors at Bremo Bluff that obscurity is threatened when a savage band abducts a group of children from the compound.

Would you consider the audio edition of All Roads Lead to Terror to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version but I tend to enjoy audio much more especially with a good narrator and Johnny Mack was great! First time I had listened to him.

What did you like best about this story?

I love coming of age stories and dystopian/zombie books. This book combined the two. I am looking forward to the next book and I hope they use the same narrator.

Have you listened to any of Johnny Mack’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He was new to me. I really enjoyed his voice! Very smooth and was easy to get into the story listening to him. I found that I had parts of the book stuck in my head for DAYS after listening to him!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, was hard to stop when I had to.

Any additional comments?

Great author and wonderful narrator, both of whom I hope to enjoy again.

Mattie Carver's engagement party should have marked the start of her own personal fairy tale. But when her fiancé, Ben, is violently abducted the next morning, her desperate quest to find him rips her away from small-town life and reveals a shattering truth: magic is real - and Ben is hooked. It's not the stuff of storybooks. It's wildly addictive, capable of producing everything from hellish anguish to sensual ecstasy almost beyond human endurance.
