This book was an absolutely breathtakingly twisted, in all the "rite" ways! The book's that are some of the best, are those that you can picture, in your minds-eye. It was definitely full of suspense and when you think you know..... You don't! This book is a definite must! Amazingly written & read. One book that I will most definitely listen to again! And I will definitely have this one on my mind. Excellent book in every way!

This book was fantastic! A definite MUST read/listen!! It brings mental health/illness into a light from the view of someone who is suffering & battling mental illness. It takes you along a path from diagnosis to treatment. It touches on the feeling's of the one whom is diagnosed, as well as her parents who, are less then happy to learn this is a life-long struggle. However, I love how it gives the reader insight into a disease that for a very many years, and even today, is one that carries a heavy stigma. This book was written so well, that you can picture the book, as if it were a movie, in your minds eye. It also, is such an honest account of the internal struggle with the person who finds out they have a serious mental health disorder. To the struggle their family may go through to learn to accept that it is a life-long battle. However with proper medication & treatment someone can, absolutely live a "normal" productive life. This book was amazingly well written, the type of book that can start the "conversation" that so desperately needs to be, not only started, but continued.
I love how the author did absolutely amazing showing how "Hannah" was affected learning of her diagnosis & trying to understand "what is reality & what is not". And how, her illness is cunning into making her think, she is fine. And her medication "is no longer needed". As alot of mental illnesse disorder's do.
I will absolutely be listening to this book again! As well as referring it to other's. Definitely, a great way to a conversation!
And that is HUGE!

Absolutely Amazing!

This third & final book is fantastic! I love the way that Ellen Hopkins seamlessly brings together all those "missing pieces" one might have had after finishing the first two books. Once again, I am not only listening to this book, I'm seeing it in my minds eye. Definitely a series I will listen too again!
As well as continue to recommend to others.

Grrrrrrr! Definitely leaving you hanging!!

Excellent book, I love the way this book begins exactly where the other one ends.. As I'm sure the 3rd & final book in this series will do.
This book, Glass, is a book that takes you into the depths of active addiction. The places that addict's say "I would never......" and then you do. The thought's of "should have, would have,?maybe?, I WILL change.... I WILL do what's best.... I'm still in control.... I'm not like that person"
This book bring's addiction in all of it ugliness front and center. It also very clearly shows the reader what it's like inside the mind of an Addict, shows how "easily" it can be to fall. Fall so deep you didn't even realize it, until it's to late.
Emily Hopkins is an amazing author, when you are reading or listening to one of her books, you can "see" the story unfold in your minds eye. Like a movie. And that my friend is a hard thing to accomplish, everything about this book, is real, raw and scarey.... The truth always is somehow.

Great Book. Can't wait to continue...

Written so well you could "see" the book actually as a movie in your mind's eye. I love Ellen Hopkins's her books are real, raw and they keep you hanging on every word. Wanting to find out how each & every word flows into the next. Being able to hear the words as they form a movie in your mind. This book is absolutely amazing, relatable and absolutely takes you into a world some have never experienced. However it's also a world many HAVE experienced. I can't wait to continue the series!
I absolutely would listen or read this book again!

This book was a good book. He was completely real, honest and 100% raw on what his spiral into the pits of hell, his addiction. It was a pretty easy read(listen), however it most definitely graphic and really brought me to where he "was" with his meth addiction. There were some areas I could relate to, based on my own battles with addiction. It was great to hear him explain how he was almost "second guessing" his choices & that he was fully aware that the road he was on was leading him absolutely nowhere fast. The strength he shared on how he was able to rise above & move forward. Gives hope, after all no one reaches recovery the same way. We all have our own "path" in active addiction, as well into recovery. Unfortunately we don't all make it.
This was a great reminder as too how fast anyone can fall down that deep dark rabbit hole to hell... Addiction

This was a wonderful book, of course it was the 2nd book in a 2-book set, the 1st book being "Tricks"
The way it literally began exactly where Tricks ended. The stories of the 5 "main" people these books have followed (so to speak) has been amazing, sad at times. However the hope each character brings is such a great lesson to take away from such horrible experiences. This book series most definitely shares the most real & raw things that literally happen each and every day. To show that with all of the horrible ways people, especially young people, can "fall into" or "be forced" into ways of life that are almost hard to believe. In this book I was thrilled with the way each and every one of the 5 main characters. Found that their is help & hope out there. That through all of the ugly in this world. There is beauty and HOPE!

I really enjoyed this book. It "flows" very well from one character to another. (It's not confusing) It's a very vividly written book, as I was listening to it, I could actually picture, in my minds eye, different "scenes" in each person's life. It's very raw and there is so very much truth behind some very "taboo" topics, even in 2019. I am excited to listen to Traffic and find out how each person's life changed through so much tragedy. I will absolutely be referring this book to others, and I will definitely be listening to this one again! (I can tell that there is so much more, to hear(read) that I may have "missed"!

I wish I could give this book more then 5 stars. It is amazing. It is real. It is raw. It is hopeful. When someone can read anything and actually picture in their minds eye what is being said/written like a movie, that's definitely a very very powerful book. This book left me feeling hopeful (on a personal level), I could relate. I didn't want to pause this book for one second! I will absolutely be listening to this book again, as well as buying the actual book. I will (and already have been) referring this book to anyone I think would absolutely fall in love with it, as I have. It has definitely left me wanting to know what Charlie's next chapter in her life will be. As well as ALL of the amazing people, you really get to know and can relate to, on some level. I could probably go on about how much I "felt" this book.... Forever. However I'll leave it at this:
If you are looking for a book that is relatable, in some ways more then others. A book that you will be able to find HOPE & happiness in. A book that is real, raw and amazing. Then this is the book for you.
