Sunset Park is gone. People are missing. Sylvie, Eric, and the other survivors have crossed the water to the security of a new Safe Zone, where they hope to heal their battered hearts, amass an armory, and get back at the ones who took it all away. But with zombies on the move and few resources to speak of, it’s harder than expected to plot their revenge. For some, it’s harder still to garner their resolve, since vengeance means more of them will die. But safety is ephemeral in a city where food is short and tensions are high. It seems fate may leave them no choice but to fight.

I could listen to both series over and over again!! Sarah Lyons Fleming has definitely inspired me to be a zombie apocalypse book lover! I love all the characters. I love the narration and how Luke and Therese did the book the same way as the first narration. I didn’t want it to end. I hope to hear more of this world and these characters. Maybe a new series.

The author can't write book 5 fast enough! Love triangle is awesome. Can't decide whose team to be on Team Jack or Team Death. I have listened to all the books multiple times. Wish Day Zero was on audio... Emma Galvin is one of the best readers out there. She does fabulous reading this whole series.

What disappointed you about The Dwellers Saga Omnibus?

generations of people living in near darkness, poverty and oppression and you write...The guys return laughing and Adele says ....I don't know what those guys are smoking but I want some....grow a lot of weed do they down there? incomplete characters..giving characters prior knowledge. children with little education who know about how the brain works and sniper spots to disconnect the brain...slingshots faster than bullets....small girls who can ninja fight large guys with guns, dad coming out of prison with a great body...hard work and great diet plan. too cryptic foreshadowing...

What could David Estes have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

explain less have your character DO more that lets the readers see their personality..what motivates....poor Tristian every time his character got real...you squashed him back into the prince escaping the castle and becoming enlightened but never feeling. sorry could not finish...too much like grading another 8th grade creative writing assignment.

Did Julia Whelan and Will Damron do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Both were fine.

What character would you cut from The Dwellers Saga Omnibus?

girl with rich parents who always buys everything...too convenient

Any additional comments?

I kept hoping it would be more like they find an opening to the surface and find out they can live out there now...maybe it did but I could finish.

The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape?

What would have made The House of Hades better?

Rerecord it with either Jesse Bernstein or Joshua Swanson. The newest narrator 'Nick Charmian' cannot make the characters sound different...can't tell if Hazel or Leo is talking. COULD NOT finish it...went out and bought the book and just read it...SHAME! I have loved the other audiobooks. This guy sounds like a bored middle schooler doing a book report.

What other book might you compare The House of Hades to and why?

When Madeline L'engle read her book Wrinkle in Time...loved the book...could not endure the narrator...same here...love the Riordan series....PLEASE RERECORD THIS BOOK WITH A REAL NARRATOR.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

RUINED IT TOTALLY!!!!!!!!!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointed and frustrated....I have all the others books recorded by Berstein and Swanson and have listen to them several times because I enjoy them in the car.....why did they ruin the series by switching this far into the series?

Any additional comments?

PLEASE RE RECORD IT WITH A REAL NARRATOR!!!!!!!!
