A western paranormal tale of passion and danger. She's as exotic as her name. All woman and all warrior. Illiana is no shy flower. She's a handful. Actually more. Big, strong, and fearless, she inspires desire that surpasses anything John Luke Legacy has ever felt. But it's more than passion. Illiana inspires emotions he didn't think himself capable of.

It took a bit to get into the story. I kept wanting things to happen - but once they did I could just sit back and enjoy the book. Loved Johnny Macks voice as he lulls you into the story and takes you on an adventure. hmmm no spoilers...okay, there are times when someone has shifted, only to have to shift back into human form...naked of course. How embarrassing hahaha.

I really liked the story and am looking forward to the next book in the series. It did take a bit with the background stuff, but afterwards you can really see how it is/was necessary. Dont stop listening :) them be dragons ahead ;)

Satchel was the undisputed king of the resident muskies. He had roamed the flowage for years, periodically terrorizing innocent fisherman by surfacing like a whale so close to a boat that the occupants could look deep into the fish's black eyes and see what seemed to be undiluted piscatorial evil.

Kyra never usually did one night stands but after meeting nightclub owner Patton, she found the prospect extremely alluring. There was something about his bad boy demeanor that just sucked her in. His strong jaw, his muscles, his tattoos. Everything about him made him so hard to resist, and Kyra simply could not say no.

I am really enjoying the dead snapshot books, and I am really enjoying the fact that the author himself is the one reading the story. To see the zombie outbreak in so many parts of the world is highly enjoyable. I have read all of his Dead series, and his Zomblog series , and I'm really having a good time with that ghoul Ava series. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

It's better to die by the gun than die by the dead. Nina's life was irrevocably changed when humanity's dead began to rise. Now, she lives behind the walls. The barricaded cities, erected by the government to protect the remnants of civilization, have become a brutal dictatorship- causing the inhabitants within to starve, steal and claw for survival. Life behind the walls has become as terrifying as roaming the zombie-ridden landscape beyond.

This book comes at you from all sides. It is pretty rough at times but it really shows us where the world is today. I would have liked it to have an ending per say, but what way is society going to to chose? Black, White, Hispanic, majority, minority...this is happening all over the world, why couldn't it happen in Seattle? It's a sad situation we can see our world walking towards. Very good book.

For years, the biggest threat that Yellowstone was thought to offer was in the form of its semi-dormant super volcano. Little did anyone realize the threat was real and slowly working its way to the surface, but not in the form of magma. Lying deep within the bowels of the earth itself, an ancient virus waited. Recently credited with wiping out the Neanderthals, the virus is released within the park and quickly spreads.

I really enjoyed this story. The performance was amazing and I loved the different voices. The story had a few flaws where the author used the same words over and over that kinda chunked up the story a bit, but it was easy enough to get over. A few people died that I didn't want to die, and some lived that shouldn't have. I guess that's what makes it a good story. I found myself wanted to listen to it longer to find out what was happening. I would definitely chose another book by the author

Ava Birch is a ghoul. Still wading through the world of Supernaturals, she is discovering that daytime soaps have nothing on the drama in her life. Lisa Jenkins, her best friend and human companion, is training to join an organization that tried to eradicate every ghoul on the planet. Morgan, her so-called adviser, continues to answer in as little detail as possible...and now the faeries are causing people to have orgies in the middle of a shopping mall. Welcome to the real world of the Supernaturals where all that stuff you read is based on fact.

Where does That Ghoul Ava Kicks Some Fairy A** rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love listening to Ava. I liked seeing Ava fight and work with the fairies. In some ways they are like preteens...but with an attitude and surprises.

What did you like best about this story?

I love it when Ava disappears into her own head and just spaces out. I am glad that it isn't just me that goes on trips :)

What about Pamela Lorence’s performance did you like?

Once again Pamela is perfect. She really gets into her Ava. I would like to meet her one day to see if she is just like what I think Ava is, or if she really has to work to get into character. What ever it is, she does it well.
