For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare - poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

I was so motivated by this books that I set out on a run outside. Something that I haven’t done since running a 5:30 mile in high school, followed by puking all over the coach. Never ran more than a mile in my life. Since then I pushed through the pin of a 3.5 mile run, and 59 miles of trail biking over 3 days. Fighting a knee injury, my body healed it because it knew I wasn’t going to let up. I’m amazed and inspired.

I especially LOVED the commentary that this audible version offered. Felt like an audio book + podcast. Very cool idea and well done!

Can’t wait for the next book!

I tried giving this audiobook several attempts to get through it. Quite honestly, I’m surprised this book was published as it seems like all of the information is so basic. It’s great that the author was able to articulate it into words, but it was as simple as stating that the sun comes up in the morning and goes down at night some days there are clouds, and sometimes there is snow on the mountain. This means it’s cold. The book was utterly ridiculous and a waste of money

I loved this so much! I purchased after listening to her last book, and felt this was great or better... stand alone or as a series. Sometimes authors repeat a lot of information on follow up books... but not this one. GREAT book, HIGHLY SUGGESTED!

No electricity. No running water. No food. No end in sight. If life as you knew it changed in an instant, would you be prepared? In A. American's first novel, Going Home, listeners were introduced to Morgan Carter, the resourceful, tough-as-nails survivalist who embarks on a treacherous 250-mile journey across Florida following the collapse of the nation's power grid. Now reunited with his loving wife and daughters in this follow-up to Going Home, Morgan knows that their happiness is fleeting, as the worst is yet to come.

Highly recommended.

It’s the near future, and thanks to a perfect storm of reckless banking practices, hyperinflation, a stock market gone mad, and the negligence of our elected officials, the entire social, political, and economic infrastructure of America has collapsed. Chaos reigns in the streets, medical treatment is no longer available, and a silent coup has placed a dangerous group of men at the helm of a false government. America’s fate is in the hands of those few individuals who have the survival skills, the faith, and the forethought to return this country to the state its founding fathers intended.

Although I'd still read future works from this author, I felt that he copied and pasted much of his story from his first books. I was really put off by this, as well as the narrator's voice. 3 of Rawle's previous books have the same narrator, it's a shame that he switched on the final one.

TERRIBLE program. They plug their other businesses about every 5 minutes... and this one is just too generic. You're better off just thinking about how to write a business plan, rather than listen to this garbage.

And no... I'm not negative about audio books normally. In fact, this is the only 1 start I've given... that's how bad it sucked.
