This unabridged audio edition of The Land Between provides fresh biblical insight for people traveling through undesired transitions - foreclosure, unemployment, parents in declining health, post-graduate uncertainty, business failure - who are looking for hope, guidance, and encouragement. A wonderful read
What a fantastic book. Seeing as how my life has been full of problems, illnesses, deaths, cross country moving, and unending bullying as I grew up, I can definitely relate to the example stories, both of people the author knew personally, and prominent Biblical figures as well. He does a wonderful job of taking parts of the Bible that I have to admit, I glazed over as "I've never acted like THAT" or "That has nothing to do with me", and made clear and concise connections, making what was once a very foreign story end up becoming profoundly important to me, and one I intend to keep in mind as I go forward.
The only "issue" I had was on the audio end, the quality was spotty in some parts, but I think this is likely a problem with the streaming process rather than the actual audiobook.
I'd say this is definitely a book to read/listen to, and I can only hope it helps others as it did for me.
