Reading this book made me go back in time and imagine what happened if I was gutsy enough to say something.

This book was definitely YA reading, but I enjoy reading these types of books. I did find Margo and Kitty to be very irritating and sometimes wanted to punch their face. Lara Jean was too much of a push over and always beat herself up. Peter was also not a nice person.

It is always about the relationships. I liked that everything wasn't as convenient but they made it work. The relationship dynamics of these books are what sells to me.

Using love to gain greed is the premise of the book. I liked it because it's Eve and her family. I didn't love it because we usually get to know the lives of the victims and the culprit. There were too much victims.

Would you listen to Killshot again? Why?

I wouldn't listen to it again, once is enough. I have too many other books out there to listen too.

Have you listened to any of Rhiannon Angell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was the first time I listened to the narrator. It was seamless and I enjoyed her.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really, but I did want to finish it and now I want to continue the series.

It's 1998, and for years the old First Bank of Cleveland has sat abandoned, perfectly preserved, its secrets only speculated on by the outside world. Twenty years before, amid strange staff disappearances and allegations of fraud, panicked investors sold Cleveland's largest bank in the middle of the night, locking out customers and employees and thwarting a looming federal investigation. In the confusion that followed, the keys to the vault's safe-deposit boxes were lost.

It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

The resilience and strength of doing the right thing when doing wrong is so much easier.

A story of a thief, a boxer, her papa, and death. A story that will take you on a journey in time where there is so much hate and devastation all around you, but the a small light of hope and love gives you strength to continue on. The author is brilliant in the way the story is told, you get caught off guard when the narrator tells you the end of the story at the beginning. It was a great read.

Off to watch the movie...glad I read the story first!

The Warden does it again! A great installment to the BDB. I tried to hold out in reading this because I didn't want it to end (True?). I couldn't give it a 5 star because I felt that ending did not do justice to the story itself. There was so much I was hoping for (do not want to put spoilers in this, so we will leave it at), but all in all another awesome BDB!
