I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

After a somewhat botched police investigation, Sadie is determined to bring her sister's killer to justice and hits the road following a few meager clues to find him. Sadie's story is so real and pulls you in from start to finish. The performances are excellent, and there qere a few times I had to hit pause, take a deep breath and mentally prepare myself to listen to the next scene. This one will definitely stick with me.

I chose this book because I was in the mood for something different. I'm a fan of Highland Time travel romances and vampire fiction, so I figured why not. I wasn't too disappointed. I feel like there are a few plot holes, but maybe that will be rectified in the next books. The narration was awesome for the men. I know it's difficult for men to portray women, and he did a fair job of it. overall, I'm satisfied

Not too crazy for the love story. I need a little more fireworks and deeper connection between the lovers. It just seemed too fast and blah. But Phil Gigante's voice kept me listening. God that drawl is hot! Other reviews critique his female voice, but I have yet to hear anything better from a man. No squeaky falsetto here.

The Wicked trilogy is fast-paced, bloody, magical, and sexy. Armentrout's characters are beautiful but flawed, and that's what I like about them. The story moves quickly and soon you're swept up in the battle between human and Fae and between good and evil. There's plenty of angst and romance to wet your appetite and twists that will make you want to stop and listen over again. Highly recommend for urban fantasy and romance readers!
