I really enjoyed listening to this book. Narrator did a wonderful job.
Gregory Maguire twists fairy tales this way and that.
Takes a getting used to, but I am hooked on his story telling.

This book is hilarious. Perfect and spot on. Jim Gaffigan is funny - you already knew that.
I finished this in one day and will listen again.
Of course I am of the - Wake up , What to eat. Then right after that - what will I eat for breakfast tomorrow and what is for lunch today. I am always hungry and looking forward to eating. I am full when I get a stomach ache.
If you are like me, listen to this book.

I enjoyed this book. As much as the first Dan Brown Novel in this series.
Clues and all.
You felt like you were there in the story watching it unfold.
The narrator did a wonderful job - telling the story , keeping the characters clear and not over acting!
I would listen again.

What a wonderful book. Who does not love Martin Short?
Growing up and watching SCTV with my family, and then reenacting every skit repeatedly until the next week, well, didn't we all ?
So anytime I get a chance to see his comedy I am there.
This is a fantastic audiobook, you will laugh and cry. But he reminds you to remain happy and remember the good times. Without actually saying or yelling it at you.
If you are a fan, it's a must. If you like biographies, this is my favorite.
I will listen to it many times.

The narrator did an excellent job with the New Orleans lingo and pronunciations. This is not an easy task. We have a lot of names that don't sound like they look. And this can be distracting from the story.
This is a tale that should never be repeated. It needs to be told.
What a horrible horrible time it was.

This audiobook told a true story of hikers that died mysteriously on a mountain hiking trip. The photos and information occurred long ago, but not so long that one hiker remained and there were still investigators interested in finding out the truth. This writer and investigator goes thru his path to find out the truth.
Kept me interested the entire book. Not to dry, as he kept bringing you in to feel what the hikers must have thought.
Overall a solid story with scientific facts to keep it real and not just guessed and fluff.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version, but I would say I prefer the audiobook to the movie. Even though I am a Johnny Depp fan. The story is much better in your head.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hunter

Which scene was your favorite?

All of the places where main character knows it not a good idea, but of course this does not stop him from being reckless.

Any additional comments?

I will be looking for more from this infamous author.

What made the experience of listening to Brewster’s Millions the most enjoyable?

Bronson Pinchot rocks as a narrator. I enjoyed listening to the story, and another I will be listening to more than once. The narrator made the story even better. I laughed and liked how, although written so long ago, it is still has validity for today.
