Instead, his Grace Adolphus Gillespie Vernon Ware or Gilly for short has endured 24 years of rigorous mollycoddling from his uncle and his valet. But his natural diffidence conceals a rebellious spirit. So when Gilly hears of Belinda, the beautiful foundling who appears to be blackmailing his cousin, he absconds with glee. Heyer is a long time favorite
I've always enjoyed Heyer and Phyllida Nash brings the characters to life impeccably. The adventures of Adolphus, Tom, and Belinda are delightfully performed.

The storyline synthesizes mythology and fantasy without effort. The characters are deeply and richly drawn.
A wonderful listen
