“Never judge a book by its cover” they say...well actually, this is more “Never judge a man by his title, or lack there of”!

This was such a great listen. To basically find true friendship in unknown wallflowers, and learn how you should never assume the worst of someone with only knowing their “class”...all in a season, well, it can really open your eyes about yourself!

I enjoyed the few background stories that was building a foundation to the characters as I listened. The times were changing and not everyone of the upper class honestly believed it would. That was weaving a fascinating insight to some of the characters that accepted the changes, and even participated. This is good story to carry through to the next, so I can see how they ended up “moving with the times no matter what others thought”.

This was a great beginning to the series, and although I’ve listened to it before - it feels great to listen again and find several things I missed the first time that helps form in my mind, about the characters better and why they are why they are (snobby or not). It’s wonderful to listen to again, now I can’t wait for the next!

Okay, so it’s just cruel not to have the next book out already!!!! Lol

This was a really great listen! During the last installment we’re introduced to someone with more of a secret than Raven could have ever expected; and while trying to lure in another “bad guy”, one she was certain would blow open the cold case she couldn’t get off her mind.....someone stops her in her tracks and ALL of keystone takes notice. What can a partner do when it just takes a turn of a knob to silence any protection?!

Answers from the past are bringing even more questions for her future. Who to trust, where to go, and no one said swimming with the whales would be any part of this plan!

I can’t give many details because this one has so many plot twists revealed and magnificently inner-twined, I don’t want to spoil any of it for you.

I can’t wait for the next book - hurry hurry hurry!!!!

Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily ever after? Meanwhile Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and, yep, not a prince in sight. At least it was fine until she hit her 30s and saw her best friends, Stephanie and Nicola, settle down with Linden and Bram McGregor, leaving Kayla as the odd one out. With exception to the female narrator seeming to sound more from Spain than Scotland, the story was awesome!

We all have demons, the little white lies we said would never hurt anyone, the past - so dark that the burning sun could never shine a light on the lessons learned from it; but in the end, to the very day we are living in - it’s the truth, the trust, and the love to guide us forward.

This was heart wrenching in parts, to hear of the life that a troubled Scottish boy lived. But the man he became was totally worth the wait!

Although like any true romance, there had to be a rocky road between the two, and to be honest - the previous books made her out to be a lot more of a high maintenance kind of girl. But this was refreshing to see the softer side of her, and to see someone want to find the demons that battled within the gentle giant.

I can say that this was my favorite one of the series.
Can’t wait for the final!!!

Who doesn’t love a Cinderella type story?! This was a really great listen! The diamond in the rough, plucked out to simply use her culinary talent on the road - has to get past her irritations of this bad boy rock star or she’ll never make it through the entire tour! She needs to stick it out but his closed off demeanor makes it hard within such a confining space of the tour bus.

Can this little spitfire actually live in his entertainment bubble without truly getting to him? Three meals a day, that’s all he has to put up with - what was he thinking?! Cleaning up his PR - that’s what he was thinking!

There’s always a story behind the facade, and it’s up to the both of them to see if it’s worth sticking around to see if there’s more behind the sass!

This was fun and I love the extra recipes called out through the book - now I need to listen to it again, just so I can write them down!

Since moving to Mystic Harbor, Maine, I've made it my life's mission to avoid Reese Blackburn at all costs. Sure, he has cheekbones that could cut glass, not to mention bedroom eyes that could melt any girl into a puddle on the floor. Too bad that doesn't change the fact he's completely stab-worthy. When a fun night out on the town turns deadly, I quickly discover the quaint little hamlet of Mystic Harbor houses more than sandy beaches and adorable B&Bs. Beneath the New England charm rests a world where shifters, demons, vampires, and angelic hunters all vie for power.

Really great twist on the average paranormal storyline!

It had ahold of me from the beginning! How could it not when you have the creep factor of the mysterious broken down road trip and the "let me go see"...Never be the person to "go see!

There's an interesting twist, delicately woven into the small town life. It's not a typical vampire vs. wolves type story and I liked that. There are otherworldly creatures, and otherworldly hunters. There's stalking, hiding, covering, and kidnapping. Pretty good, action filled story unfolding as Cat tries to understand what's going on and what role does she truly play?!

Very enjoyable, can't wait for the next book - I have to find out about.....!

What did you love best about An Arrangement of Sorts?

I loved the back and forth between the two - hirlarious! The sarcasm is so relatable and yet it was written to still suit the time.

Any additional comments?

To have such a big secret in her background not to come tumbling into the forefront, to have a non-shallant - likable leading "lady", even with her "I can do it too" women vs. men slight mentality (it wasn't over-done), and to keep a little mystery to them both throughout - well it checked off all of my boxes for a pleasant listen!!

So many authors make their characters out to be "witchy" while proving they don't need a man - thankfully this isn't one of them! Just enough to get the point across and just enough for acceptance.

I throughly enjoyed the adventure to find her intended! The games they acted out, the relationship gradual build, and the conclusion of everyone's story being wonderfully buttoned up!

Excited to continue the series & look into more of Rebecca Connolly!

Don't really want to get into specifics, but let's just say there are crazy biker chic grandmas, self entitled ware wolves, dangerous dictating demons, oh so yummy protector...oh, and a yappy side-kick dog...and that's yappy as barking, that's a non-stop chatterbox dog with A.D.D.! What's a pre-school teacher turned demon butt kicker supposed to do when her grandmother needs her most?!?.....well - just hop on a hot strangers Harley, hold on extra tight and go for a ride she'll never forget!

This was a fun first adventure - can't wait the hear what happens in Vegas!
