In Happiness, noted theologian Randy Alcorn dispels centuries of misconceptions about happiness and provides indisputable proof that God not only wants us to be happy, he commands it. The most definitive study on the subject of happiness to date, this book is a paradigm-shifting wake-up call for the church and Christians everywhere.

I really appreciate and value how thorough Randy Alcorn is, but this book could have easily been summed up in an essay. It seemed repetitive and was just too much.

Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability - the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome - is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall. It is the rise from falling that Brown takes as her subject in Rising Strong.

There is some repeat info from The Power of Vulnerability, and I prefer that audio "book" to this one because of the seminar style is has, but I still think this was a worthwhile"read." It should be mandatory that she narrate all of her books; it makes such a difference!
