Any additional comments?

Although I really liked the overall story, the narration just didn't do it for me. There was interesting characters, the plot and mystery was on point. The humor was even pretty good but unfortunately like many novels when it comes to matching the right narrator with the genre and tone of the novel it doesn't always work and thus the enjoyment of what was an otherwise well written book is lost. So in short, good book bad narrator. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book even though it was a short read. It's a story about a young man, Palmer, finding his way. Palmer has a good heart and despite his criminal background tries to do the right thing. I will definitely be checking out the next book in this series. Even though it was short, I thought that the author did an excellent job with the character development. The narrator also did an excellent job. This book was pretty interesting but it dragged a bit and was about 2 hours too long. I wanted to like it considering all of the positive reviews, but couldn't get into it like I had hoped. I did however learn a thing or two about geocaching. The main character seemed at times a bit robotic and considering he's an ex FBI agent, he just didn't quite come across as all that intelligent. While the mystery and adventure aspects were an interesting idea, somehow the characters of the novel took away what could have been an excellent and exciting read. The narrator was just okay and did an adequate job with each character, however, I think he could have added a bit more life to his read. He didn't sound bored just uninterested. Although I enjoyed this book, it wasn't anything to write home about. The characters were a bit shallow and sometimes a bit annoying but I did enjoy the friendship between Mara and her BGF. Not sure if I'll complete the series but if you're looking for a light undemanding read then you will enjoy the ride. The narrator does an excellent job with each character and was a pleasure to listen to. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an excellent series. I love books with a different spin on my favorite genres and this certainly fits the bill. Mark Talon, ex Delta Force soldier, returns with more action and even creepier demons. The story is fast paced and really draws you in. I like that you get more of a glimpse into the main character Mark Talon the man and what motivates him to do what he does. He's almost superhuman in a way. Great job by the author and by all means keep them coming. I'm in the for ride. The narrator also does an excellent job. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book started out wonderfully then about half way through I kept waiting for Ann's powers, for lack of a better word, to kick in. In my opinion her special talent didn't really do much. I wanted to like this book but couldn't. The narrator did an excellent job and maybe if I stick with the series hopefully the main character, Ann, will have developed her special talent a bit more.
