I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the other Fools Gold stories, but this one made me want to scream, 'You didn't do anything wrong, stop apologizing.' I wanted to give Liz a good shake and Ethan a good slap.
Starting book No.3 right now.
By the way, love Tanya Eby's narration.

An exciting drama, well acted by all. The sub plots could be a little confusing and the ending was a surprise to say the least. I couldn't believe that the story came to such an abrupt stop and I'm desperate to know what is going to happen to all the characters.
More please and soon.

I love the Charles Paris stories. Bill Nighy is perfect in the role. I laughed out loud (very loud) on many occasions. The stories are very English, as are the characters , perhaps that should read eccentric, but that just adds to their charm. Can't wait for more of them.

The story is a cross between "Frozen" and Beauty and the Beast , I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
The narration was excellent. Often the male characters sound odd coming from a female voice but not this time. I lost myself in this
lovely, often extremely. moving story and was a little sorry when it came to an end.

The story was okay, I expected a fairy story. The narration drove me crazy!! I realise
that I am the lone voice, but I found it hard to listen to. The end of almost every sentence was emphasised to such an extent that I wanted to pull my hair out. At first I thought J R Rain had gone over to children's fiction, but I guess that Piers Anthony must be the larger influence in this book and I haven't yet read or listened to any of his work so I am unfamiliar with his style
Paul Licameli has a wonderful voice, great for story telling, for children just not for me , at least not for adult fantasy. I will not give up on him just yet.
