I've read all of Franklin's books but this one might be my new favorite. Most likely because I was raised Irish catholic and enjoyed the characters relations to my heritage. Anyways I hope to read more of these characters. Great story! Pierce does a good Irish accent too.

Dont let my rating mislead you. This was a really good series. I gave the story a 4 star for two reasons. First I felt the battle seasons had too much emotional aspect there and second I think the book was slow at times and filled with a little too much introspective content. Some is great but too much is just good.
