Books 1-3. of the 'in Stilettos' series was my introduction to this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Each book is a combination of light hearted banter, meaningful friendships and an underlying gritty story to keep the reader guessing.

I was impressed by my first Patricia McLinn audio book. The book was an intriguing look at the Olympic Games from the Competitors point of view and followed several relationships, both romantic and friendship. It took me a couple of chapters to sort out who was who and what was happening but once I was in the swing it was difficult to stop listening. I lost quite a bit of sleep listening into the wee hours. I would recommend this book, especially if you are interested in winter sports. Thank you Patricia for allowing me to experience this audio book

This is my first Charlotte Nash book and as an Aussie I found it particularly enjoyable to read an Australian story and I love the high country so it was a double whammy. The story was full of unresolved issues from the past and interesting characters. It also had intrigue, humour and some heart wrenching sadness (yes, I cried a couple of times). The main characters, Craig Monroe and Peta Woodward are easy characters to get involved with to the point of feeling their emotions. I would definitely like to read more of Charlottes books as I appreciated the fact that she does not need to pad the story out with pages and pages of unnecessary sex to sell the plot though I am certainly not a prude. Thank you Charlotte for this opportunity.

For Daly English, life is a series of one disappointment after another. Rather than dealing with the fall-out, she locks herself in her studio and works tirelessly toward completing her art school portfolio. Unfortunately, fate isn't done with Daly quite yet.

I have to say the ending of this book was not what I was expecting and initially I was a little sad and disappointed. However, by the time I reached the end of the book I could appreciate exactly where it was heading. The loss of loved ones is not the end but as in the book it can be a difficult step in the overall healing process. It was a healing time for Dally and Laine in multiple ways. Definitely worth a read.

I gave this book a 5 star rating as it is unlike anything I have ever read about Angels before. I cannot define my feelings either way after reading this set. I was sad and at the same time I could find an underlying message that touched me I. A very positive way.

I believe anyone who truly believes in a greater power will enjoy this amazing insight into what happens during and beyond this earthly life.

I found this audio book to be a lovely short story. Ideal to relax and enjoy from start to finish on a rainy afternoon. James finds sanity in a photo of a beautiful stranger as he struggles to survive prison camp and Gloria mourns the loss of her beloved brother. The story tells of how James searches for the mystery woman he has fallen in love with from just her photo and how they bring love and joy to each other. Thank you Melissa Storm.
