I kept listening hoping their was some action. With all the great reviews.

Pros: Super sweet love story. The hero really loved her.

Cons:
No action
Long boring tellings of nothing really
Narrator cannot do female voices AT ALL.
Bored

The love story could have been told in about 4 hours not 10. I probably wont listen to anything else from this author.

Joyce's life is mapped out: dead end job, after dead end job, until she is dead. At least, that is until Kede Tria - a Doshan alien - shows up and takes her away from it all. Literally. He's overbearing, possessive, sexy as hell, and everything she never knew she wanted in a man, er, alien. Of course, life happens and she discovers Death by Chocolate isn't just a dessert, it's a reality. Good thing Kede is there to save her...by making her Doshan.

The story had a good plot, with honorable heroes/warriors. BUT! The story was to long with mostly alien political issues going on. I got bored and would have rather there been so action instead.

I wasn't really that annoyed with the heroine like everyone else. She had A LOT of change happening that was not explained to her. Once it was explained to her she immediately understood and came around. I've read other books where the Heroine still complained and bitched even after being told why. That is an annoying heroine. In this book she did not do this.

This book was way way way to long.

So it was just okay for me. I won't re-read/re-listen though. To boring

I enjoyed this story and all the characters. I am a christian so it was nice to read a romance book with not so much xxx. The only thing I wish was better with these clean romance books, is that there was a little more passion in them with the love story.

I enjoyed being inside the heroes head. I liked seeing how he felt about her, and his struggles.

Also yes I know it's a clean romance, but in reality our war hero's see a lot and cuss a lot. I do know a few marines who curse less than others or very rare. Only 1-2 out of like 20 (I'm married to one) So when the part about him rarely using a curse word came up I had to roll my eyes.

I will be coming back to this author for sure.

First the narrator was horrible.

The hero was annoying and cheesy to even believable. The heroine got on my nerves and was stupid at the end of the book.

Sometimes the author is spot on, but she can get so over the top with the cheesy crap that the hero/heroine get annoying and childish.

I think I'll be skipping this series. Again can't stand the narrator.

I loved the first half of this book. Great hero/characters and action.

There was to much sex in this book. Another thing you cannot become a professional dancer like she was from only starting to learn at 18-19. Nope sorry. Author needs to really look into that more. She had no training whatsoever before. This was insulting to those who do have a dancing background and years of hard work.

So not my favorite, but I will continue with the series. This just won’t be one I’ll ever read again.

The first half of this book I was crying and laughing. I liked the heroine in the beginning, but as time went on she became a little ridiculous and annoying. She started to sound more like an annoying smart child then an adult. So it was overdone and I wish there was more action in this one. It was still a good sweet story. The beginning had more action and I enjoyed listening to it.
