It began on New Year's Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world's population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magic rose up in its place. Some of it is good, like the witchcraft worked by Lana Bingham, practicing in the loft apartment she shares with her lover, Max.

I tried to allow the story and characters develop it was slow going. Introduction of fairies made me lose the desire to finish the book.

The message of Created for Connection is simple: Forget about learning how to argue better, analyzing your early childhood, or making grand romantic gestures. Instead, get to the emotional underpinnings of your relationship by recognizing that you are attached to and dependent on your partner in much the same way that a child is on a parent and we are on the Heavenly Father for nurturing, soothing, and protection.

Wasted an Audible credit and 10 hours listening just hoping that it would turn and get better. At least I know the entire full history of psychology. Academia at its finest. To be Christian based and refer to husband-wife as “long term partners” was a big turn off.

Having been born and raised in Tennessee, MARK does an excellent job with compelling southern characters and their ways.

I also enjoyed the Biblical prophecy lessons as well.
