I've been many things in my life: daughter, friend, student, lover, wife…and now, widow. Getting past those labels and finding who I could be without them was the hardest thing I've ever done. Then I became friends with Brendon Connolly. Every time I look at him, I see a past, I see a present, and I’m afraid if I look too hard, I’ll see a future.

I loved Brendan and Harmony. They have known each other and been friends since they were younger. Harmony was married to Moyer who unfortunately has passed away. He was also friends with Brendan and worked with him as well. When Harmony was married, Brendan didn’t have feelings other then friendship for her. Now Harmony is a different person. After loosing someone you love it changes you. She has just started to put herself back out there and go on a a few dates. Brendan doesn’t know if he should be feeling what he is towards Harmony or if it is wrong. He doesn’t feel he is good enough for her and doesn’t want to loose her as a friend if things don’t work out. Harmony doesn’t want Brendan to think she is leaning too much on him and doesn’t know when her feelings of friendship started to change to something more. This is a slow build up romance and I loved these two every step of the way. They have great friends and family that help the two of them navigate their feelings. Fantastic read don’t miss it!

Great novella. You have seen Kaylee and Landon through the Montgomery Ink Colorado Springs series. This is a fun and sexy little story that puts these two together on their HEA. These two had a quick encounter together but wanted to remain friends and not have a relationship. Slowly they see that other relationship aren’t what they want and that maybe what they want and need has been right in front of them all along.

Joe Arden does a great job as the narrator. Loved his voice

I never wanted to hurt Violet Knight, but there were reasons I had to leave all those years ago - not that she'd believe me if I told her what they were. I not only left her, I also left my foster brothers. Honestly, I didn't want to come back to Denver to help run my father's failing brewery. But when it comes to my brothers, I know I'll find a way to make it work. Perhaps I'll even earn Violet's forgiveness and face the connection we both thought long forgotten in the process. Because I wanted her then, but now I know I need her. I just hope she needs me.

Violet and Cameron are a great pairing. So the story starts with the lose of a friend and Violet isn’t sure how to deal with it. She can’t find closure because there seems to be no reason for it and no explanation is left for anyone. Cameron has returned home after being gone for years leaving violet and his brothers behind. He had family things he felt he had to deal with but didn’t give others a chance to understand his reason for leaving. He is back to help turn around the family bar with his two brothers. He sees Violet and his feelings for are still the same. Violet doesn’t want to fall for Cameron again because she doesn’t want to risk her heart another time with him. Slowly these two start to find each other and past reasons for Cameron leaving are explained. It takes them some work but all real love does. This is a great story and I look forward to the rest of this series. Can be read as a stand alone and there is a HEA at the end.

Loved the dual readers for this story. Both narrators were great

This was a great start to a new series. Lyric is a girl just finishing high school and trying to figure out what she wants to do going forward. She feels that she might be letting her parents down as her friends have chosen a path and she has not. She has these dreams that come to her that feel real but she isn’t sure why. Soon her and her friends world is turned upside down with one hike in the mountain with Rhodes and his sister changes everything. Soon she learns her world isn’t the only one that exists and she maybe the savior for this other realm. She and her friends Emory and Braelynn journey there with Rhodes in order to save find his sister. I don’t want to give too much away. This was a great first book and I cannot wait to see what is in store for Lyric and all of her friends going forward. A truly great read and fantastic first book.

I enjoyed this narrator. I feel she did a great job embodying the character of Lyric. Can’t wait for the next one.

This final installment follows Max and Cheyenne as their worlds are thrown a bit through a loop with new mating bonds and a connection to an ancient artifact. Great story and hopefully in the future we will be back to see the Talons and other shifters. Don’t miss this series. Books are standalones but have an overall storyline. Great narrator as well.

I loved Ainsley and Loch. We have seen them through the other two books in this series and it was great to finally see their story. Loch is always so quiet and Ainsley seems more sociable and outgoing. They are best friends and both don’t want to loose that. Loch feels like his past work would prevent him from having a relationship and his daughter is his focus. He doesn’t want to try again after his relationship with his daughters mother. Ainsley loves both Loch and his daughter. She feels something more but doesn’t want to loose what they have. These two quickly find themselves together but Lochs past seems to be trying to come between them. Don’t want to give much away but I loved this book and it is a great read.

It was my first book read by Maxine mitchel and I enjoyed her reading of this.

I loved Dimitri and Thea. I love stories that are friends that realize they could be something more. The small bump in this for the two is that Dimitri is divorced from Thea’s best friend. You watch as the two navigate this new dynamic and how Thea feels she needs to make sure her friend is ok with the situation as she doesn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. She runs a bakery that she is hoping to expand and she has a lot going on in her life that she isn’t sure she has time for someone else. Dimitri is sure that he wants to have this relationship with Thea. He is all about doing what he has to to see where it is going to go. I don’t want to spoil anything but there are some great twists at the end and a lead in to the next family members book. Great read as always.

Loved Joe Arden as the reader. He did a great job. Recommend this listen.

Kameron and Dhani were definitely worth the wait. I love the Talon pack and look forward to each new release even though it brings me closer to the series ending. Kameron as the pack Enforcer feels that he can’t focus on having or finding a mate while his pack is being threatened. As this would take his focus from his pack. But as they seem to always have a fight brewing somewhere it seems almost a way for him to try and ignore his feelings and validate it with a reason. He also feels that since his potential is a human he has time to fix things for the pack then address his bonding with Dhani. This gets blown out of the water when she tells him she knows they are potential mates. Dhani has things going on in her life as well. She has dreams that seems to tell her of things to come and help influence choices she needs to make. They are not clear sometimes till it actually happens. Through several twists the two are forced together. It takes both of them realizing what they could be together to help fix some of what is heading towards the pack. I don’t want to give much away as this is the book right before the finale of the Talons. I enjoyed this book and it can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading them all.

I really enjoyed Aiden Snows voice. It was low and rumbly which I liked with Kameron’s character. Would love to hear more from him reading. Fantastic listening experience.

I think Murphy is my favorite Gallagher brother. Seeing glimpses of him in the previous books was nice but to get to know him was awesome. He is such a sweet guy that has had life try to push him down. No matter what he pushes through and loves his family. I also loved Tessa. In the previous book you only saw her as the girl who went out and had to be dragged home by her friend but now you get to see the real her. The flirting between her and Murphy was great but when they both realize there may be more to gain then loose if they are together it is great. Friendship is the best place to start a relationship and that is what they do. I liked that it didn't shy away from what was going on in Murphys life and how Tessa was able to help him to get through a tough time. Loved this sorry there are no more brothers but look forward to the next story from Carrie Ann.

I truly enjoyed the narrator on this book. I have listened to a few others and have found that I like the male readers more then the females though it would be nice to have both on a book:) loved the story and reader would definitely recommend
