While this book was filled with some intrigue, it didn’t make me feel good at the end. The main characters just kind of fell off to nothing. I had hoped there would have been more involvement by the father. Again, nothing.

Just two years ago, the media turned Detective John Spader into a hero. He'd caught a twisted serial killer terrorizing Massachusetts, and the "Jack of Spades," as the media dubbed Spader, was born. But when the murderer walked free on a technicality - free to kill again - the public turned on Spader. Now a new serial killer is on the loose. He wears the silly, gap-toothed, grinning mask of Galaxo, Starboy Avenger! - a cartoon alien of unparalleled popularity with children.

I’ve almost listened to all of James’ books and this one has the best ending. Also, John Rubinstein is the best narrator I’ve ever listened to with his myriad of great voices, and I’ve listened to many. Thank you both for a very memorable and enjoyable experience.
You can be very proud of this audible book.

It isn't the first time that identical twins Gillian and Melina Lloyd have switched identities. Melina, the more impetuous twin, proposes that her circumspect sister take her place as a media escort to NASA astronaut and national hero Colonel Christopher "Chief" Heart. Although it's an enticing offer, Gillian declines for a very personal reason. Besides, she warns Melina, such a switch could have unexpected consequences.
