It isn't the first time that identical twins Gillian and Melina Lloyd have switched identities. Melina, the more impetuous twin, proposes that her circumspect sister take her place as a media escort to NASA astronaut and national hero Colonel Christopher "Chief" Heart. Although it's an enticing offer, Gillian declines for a very personal reason. Besides, she warns Melina, such a switch could have unexpected consequences.

This book was disappointing. Pretty unrealistic from start to finish. Narrator was tolerable but no voice changes for any of the characters. I won’t listen to it again.

Pretty good story but definitely not SB’s best work. Usually I like Victor Slezak’s narrative but this was bad. Couldn’t tell one character from another so it was hard to follow. Better read than listened to.

A serial killer who inexplicably likes to kill in threes, leave behind inexplicable newspaper clippings, and not one shred of decent forensic evidence, soon starts leaving messages that seem to be just for Cadence and her sisters. I'm a huge Sandra Brown fan, I've read most of her books. This was a huge disappointment. The male lead comes off as a bully who practically rapes "his love" shortly after their meeting. Too many sappy love scenes that missed the mark. Not worth the credit or time.
