This was a riveting story with characters brought to vivid life by two outstanding narrators. I was sorry to see the second in the series is not yet available but when it is I will definitely be adding it to my library.

Valentine French may be the sassiest dating columnist in New York City, but the abundance of metrosexuals in her adopted metropolis is seriously cramping her style. Where are the beefy all-American boys? Hoping to find some inspiration, Val heads to Alaska, where the men outnumber the women 15 to one and wrestle grizzly bears for sport. Or so she can only imagine.

These two narrators complimented each other perfectly. Their voices added tremendously to the "hotness" factor. Story very well written with a wonderful combination of humor and sensuality within the plot line. My first time listening to this author. I am already to try another in the series!

When Phoebe receives the order to eliminate Jesse, she must choose between the job she's dedicated her life to and the man who's stolen her heart. Choosing Jesse would mean abandoning everything she believes in, and it might mean sharing his fate because a shadowy killer is dedicated to finishing the job started in Iraq.

The whole series is excellent but the level of the story was outstanding! I am very anxious to listen to Ten's story. Hopefully it will be coming soon.

“I didn’t do it!” is something cops hear all the time. But when the plea comes from a close friend who’s fallen on hard times, it’s tougher to ignore, especially for young Officer Danny Boyle. It’s the start of another action-packed summer for the wisecracking Boyle and straight-arrow cop (now chief of detectives) John Ceepak down the Jersey Shore as they do their best to help Danny’s friend, a young nurse who claims she has been falsely accused of aggravated assault by a prestigious Sea Haven doctor.

This is one of the best narrators I've ever listened to. His voice(s) match the characters perfectly!
I have enjoyed each of the books in this series. Only regret is that it's over.
