The book is visionary and it reads more like a handbook on female leadership. While the book as written seems very pedestrian it also carries with it visions necessary to effectively lead and yes, there will be a female president one day and indeed she will have to be twice as good to be thought of as better as a leader than most men.
Interesting reading, hopeful and realistic.

The third of Judy Garland's five husbands, Sid Luft was the one man in her life who stuck around. For nearly a decade, Amy Chozick chronicled Hillary Clinton's pursuit of the presidency. Chozick's front-row seat, initially at the Wall Street Journal covering Mrs. Clinton's imploding 2008 campaign, and then at the New York Times where she was assigned "The Hillary Beat", set off a years-long journey in which the formative years of her twenties and thirties became, both personally and professionally, intrinsically intertwined to Clinton's presidential ambitions.

It was hard to listen to after awhile. Elizabeth is a passionate person and after a bit it becomes hard to listen to pages and pages of her enthusiasm. Her passion became painful to listen to and I had to put the book down for a while. I was glad when it was over and I usually don't think that way about books.

A play-by-play of the political forces and media culture that vilified and ultimately brought down Hillary Clinton during her 2016 Presidential campaign. The Destruction of Hillary Clinton is an answer to the question many have been asking: how did an extraordinarily well-qualified, experienced, and admired candidate - whose victory would have been as historic as Barack Obama's - come to be seen as a tool of the establishment, a chronic liar, and a talentless politician?

This was a clear and concise explanation of what happened, when it happened and why did it happen. We all expected a fair and untethered election....it was neither. It was an illegitimate election of a very poor businessman, but a conman, running for the highest office in the world with the help of Russia and our US Press and of course, the FBI (who refused to comment on the ongoing Russia investigation of the president but who did not mind commenting on the ongoing investigation of Hillary).
I never thought I would live to see the day when our Congress would let the Russians decide who would be our president. Yes, Hillary made a few mistakes....but the truth is stranger than fiction. If we survive this administration we can never let this happen again!

I wish Hillary had someone else read it to us, who anger was both a distraction and annoyance, although I can fully understand all of her emotions.

For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules.
