Amongst the remnants of the ancient Saidican Empire lies Golias Hollow, an underground community of people who’ve taken refuge from the tainted surface. Completely cutoff from the outside world, the men and women of the Hollow follow the teachings of the prophet Dormiar, sacrificing a select few to the outside each year in a ceremony known as “The Choosing”.

Can not take the whining by the female lead. Makes you wish she would have just been left for dead. Main Character has nothing to offer but just stupid jokes. The voice for both is almost unbearable.

Ever since he and the Legion had been forced to flee their headquarters four years previous, nothing had gone quite right. In fact, Felix and the Legion have been locked in a shadow war with enemies unknown. Ones with magic that could carve through their technology easily.

main character always knows what's best, is always right, can judge any other character by looking at them, most powerful human on the planet, every female wants to sleep with him, and every female just knows that he always makes the right decision. No character growth ...because he is perfect. Don't think I have ever wanted a main character to die so bad as this one.

Some parts of this book are hard to get thru. Parts seem like a well written book and others seems like its boarder line soft core port. Don't really know what to say about the ending. Letting murderers go because they threatened to kill themselves is just dumb and ruined the whole book for me.

Good book and a great series. The only thing I would ask is that he leaves politics out of the book. I get it, the author does not like Trump, but I really don't see a reason to slam him every other page. Please just stick to story and leave out the things that are distracting.

The self loathing of all the character gets a little old. The entire book is each character thinking that they are worthless, their powers are too week, other character's powers are great, and they need to contribute more to the group.
