In a world without a power grid, the government decides to round everyone up into APZ where they can better control the population and global warming. Not everyone is thrilled about that and those that object are considered Ghosts and Exorcist teams are sent to remove them permanently. I loved the idea and the characters and the story was great if sometimes I felt like the Climate change message was being beaten over my head like I was one of the kids in the Orphanage. You can feel the authors passion against ATV’s and for the free-range. The narrator at times seemed to struggle with the female voices, although the men’s were very much in what I’d expect of an Arizona Cowboy. I was given a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

All Nick Lyons wanted was to be a Knight and now he’s sent as a squire to the worst ship in the fleet to be a spy for a wizard he doesn’t trust by a noble he doesn’t know. But all isn’t as it seems and the more time he spends on the Stalwart the deeper into the mystery he is drawn. Incredible series that hopefully will be back up on Amazon soon. I’ve got the four books that are out and am looking forward to more. The two Audios are laugh out loud great and the narration is spot on.

Being one of the four horsemen sucks. The hours are long, the pay is crap, and every god or monster you meet wants to kill you. For Lazarus Kerrigan, professional necromancer, even helping the police search for some missing internal organs is a welcome relief. That is, until his ex-girlfriend shows up in the employ of an ancient Egyptian deity, and a faerie queen makes him an offer he can't refuse.
