Magnolia Nights audiobook cover art

Just on narrator would be better

The story was good. Mid story a male narrator took over for a few chapters for no reason and then back to the female which she was great. Made it confusing to listen to. It wasn't like it was a time line change, just a few chapters with a male voice reading the same characters. Weird.

Dean Koontz is not one of my favorites. But that's my personal opinion. This book was enjoyable for me. Different story line that keeps your interest. I just love Einstein.

I enjoyed the story as well as the ending. My only issue was the narrator spoke way too fast! Tried to slow her down but that still didn't sound right. Take a breath in between sentences. Adventualy I got over it but thought it could have been better, read by someone else.

I loved everything about this story!! Continuous action could not put it down just had to hear the end. My favorite character was Tina, Lisa's best friend. She is hilarious!
Alex Ford is the perfect narrator for this story. She nailed it!
Stephen Stromp is awesome! I cannot wait for another story from him!! Hope the wait is short lived. Would love to have my scare factor and please keep Alex she brings the story to life! More please!!!

There are some creepy parts that make it an Ibsen but also the dragging of detail getting you out of the mood. Also Jake had to be sped up because he too was lacking. Storyline is different in a good way. Looking forward to the next scare!

Beth Chalmers is amazing so talented. She doesn't miss a beat when changing characters. This is my first Nicci French and won't be the last as long as Beth is narrating.

I love the series all but this one. It drags and is very repetitive. I even thought the narrator was bored. There are a few parts in the middle that kept my interest but, then it became blah blah blah.
I do wish the stories were longer. Please crank up the creep factor.
