Curtis Hunt has made a name for himself as a chainsaw wood carver, winning national competitions and operating a small business in Rainbow Cove, Oregon. As winter whittles away his tourist traffic, his goal is just to survive the season and try to not get lost in grief for his dead lover. It's been two years, but he's sure he'll never be over the love of a lifetime. However, his body has a certain restlessness that he doesn't quite know how to calm. Logan Rosner knows a thing or two about restlessness.

My only criticism is with the narrators. I love them both but felt that they should have done opposite roles. The reader who did Logan sounded more masculine (kind of like a woodsy sort) and the reader who did Curtis was rather preppy sounding. Just my opinion.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Sanford Stewart sure doesn't. In fact, he pretty much believes in the exact opposite, thanks to the Homo Jock King. It seems Darren Mayne lives for nothing more than to create chaos in Sandy's perfectly ordered life, just for the hell of it. Sandy despises him, and nothing will ever change his mind. Or so he tells himself.

All James wanted was a little solitude at his favorite resort: bright sunshine overhead, soft, white sand underfoot, and a hammock to read in while the warm breeze rustles through the coconut palms and almond trees. However, when an old acquaintance shows up, and James is obliged to share "his" beach, a profound exchange over a bottle of rum leads to a lust-fueled encounter in the dark.

Artist Trevor Morrison has always appreciated the little things in life, treating each day as a gift. And with good reason; he's been on the transplant-recipient list for too long now. When he learns just how numbered his days truly are, he resolves not to take them for granted. But he won't be unrealistic, either - which means romantic commitments are off the table.

Squat is a short gay romantic story written for an adult audience. It's a story about finding love in the least likely of places; especially when you're cold and lonely, having forgotten what to be afraid is because you're numb. A story about finding your first love, and keeping it for the rest of your life.
