Brilliant! What an enjoyable story! The emotion and magic... it really allows your imagination to flow along with it. This book series as well as the Infernal Devices have been my favorites. Not so much The Mortal Instruments. Bravo! I have already pre ordered the 3rd book!

The reader was wonderful. The story? Nice idea, but that all goes out the window once you realize where the writer took our beloved brilliant inteligent character Belle.

I found myself cringing every moment Belle went against her instincts and "fell into a trap". She literally had to be saved by an insect who TOLD her how to free herself. Come on!

It is so disheartening to have listened to a story that "dumbed" Belle. To be honest, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth knowing this is going to be a story others will hear and perhaps read before they get to know her in Beauty and The Beast.

Aidan and Sarah Cooper have no idea what they’re getting into one afternoon when they discover a mysterious coded document in a secret compartment of an antique English desk their father recently bought at an auction. Something about the document seems familiar to Sarah, and that night she realizes what it is: the document seems to be referring to some books she has read - the Starcatchers series, about the origin of Peter Pan. But how could that be? The document seems far older than the books. And of course, the books are just stories....

I am so disapointed in this new tale. I went in with an open mind but I couldn't bring myself to love it the way I loved the other Starcatcher books. I don't know if the voices being different played a big role in how I feel... but I do know I didn't feel any warmth. It felt as if this story was a cheap rip off of the original tales. I don't feel like it holds any heart. It came to the point where I wasn't even interested anymore and it was giving me a headache. So I decided to stop 45 minutes before the ending. I don't want the series to end on this note. I want to leave it on a high... so I'll just erase this from my mind and say thay The Sword of Mercy completed the series for me.

Beautifully told! Bravo! I love the depths this story took. the gritty enchantment, the honest fear humanity would have. I hope to read more twisted tales, it would be such a shame to not have any more.
