On the far western outposts of Queen Anastasias' Nine Realms, the evil bone dragon Visalth, in league with a mysterious army of brigands, is laying waste to the island strongholds. The undead horror is drawing near to the heart of the realm, leaving nothing but death and destruction in its wake. But there is cunning beyond simple magic in these onslaughts. Right before any battle begins, the wizards, mages and clerics protecting the lands suddenly disappear.

This was another look into the fantasy world that the author has created, and it is indeed a deep one. He keeps a classic, high fantasy feel throughout, and does a great job bringing the listener in. A good narrator, along with a strong story, make this book a great one to catch. The characters are unique and interesting, and their interaction is one of the best parts of the whole book. I'm looking forward to listening to the next installment.

This audiobook definitely opened my eyes to the importance of stretching. From the very beginning, it stressed how vital it can be, not just for our physical endeavors, but for our day to day lives. With a wide range of detailed instructions, including the length of time a person should perform each stretch (something that I find I have difficulty determining), this book provides an extremely thorough overview of stretching as a form of physical activity in and of itself. Too often it is seen as an afterthought, and this book really brought it into the light. There are even routines to follow, so a person getting no started isn't overwhelmed! A great listen overall.

To say that this audiobook is thorough would be an understatement. From choosing the proper equipment, to getting in the right mental state to ride, to overcoming fear and self doubt, this book gives you more tools than you ever thought you needed to be successful in cycling. It profiles successful cyclists, gives detailed information on the best exercises to improve cycling performance, and alerts you to common pitfalls that even the most hardcore athletes can suffer. This book is informative to the extreme, but it stays on topic and relates it all back to the goal of enjoying the sport in whatever form you choose. Casual bike riders will enjoy this book just as much as the experienced cyclist.
Overall, this book gives insight into a sport that is loved by many, yet unknown by many as well. After listening, my interest in cycling has increased, and my motivation to use it as a form of exercise has definitely gone up. Very well done.

This audiobook is an incredibly thorough introduction and overview of some of the various forms of massage from around the world. Not only does it describe each type of massage in a clear and concise manner, it explains each style's origin, its purpose, as well as addresses who should avoid getting certain massages. Before listening, I had little to no knowledge about the differences between different styles of massage, other than price. Now I know when and why I should get a Swiss massage as opposed to shiatsu, and I know the benefits of deep tissue massage in contrast to sports massage. What's more, I can recommend certain massages to others, or even surprise my wife with the perfect gift!

Overall, I feel this was a very well done book, from narration to content covered. I would recommend it to anyone looking for more information about massage in general.
