In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

I am an enormous fan of the Obamas. But overall I felt this book was average at best. for whatever reason, I did not enjoy Michelle Obama reading this. the most entertaining parts of the book where when she was talking about Barack and what it was like when he became president. I hate writing this review, because I really did want to like it a lot more.

An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

It's just another day of high school for Zack Lightman. He's daydreaming through another boring math class, with just one more month to go until graduation and freedom - if he can make it that long without getting suspended again. Then he glances out his classroom window and spots the flying saucer.

Wil Wheaton performance is spot-on, per usual. But the story itself is flat and underdeveloped. It seems to be rushed, and too predictable. 6 characters and relationships don't have true connection. I absolutely loved Ready Player one and was excited to read Armada, but it doesn't live up. It doesn't even come close!
