Where does Sleeping with Strangers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was good. It started off a little slow for me.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would like to have had more information on Gideon's past earlier in the book.

Which character – as performed by Dion Graham – was your favorite?

Gideon of course. He's complicated.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction. The writer leaves you wanting to know more about Gideon. I wondered if he would ever really have a "happy ending".

Yes. It's more interesting the book is narrated. Changes in voice give a clearer picture of the characters

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. I loved the way the writer gave detailed descriptions of all of the characters. It seemed as though everyone had a reason to kill Darryl.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The narration was good. I'd never heard any o f the narrators
before.

If you could take any character from The Man in 3B out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Darryl. He seemed to have the ability to connect with different people on so many different levels. Had he channeled his energy differently, he could have been a great businessman.

What did you love best about The Book Club?

The story was interesting. Not at all what I expected from the title.

What did you like best about this story?

The way the author developed each character, with the exception of Midge. I didn't really understand what happened to her in the end. In addition, the characters were more mature. I rarely find authors that develop interesting characters over 45 years old.

What about Deanna Hurst’s performance did you like?

Her voice was clear and crisp.

If you could rename The Book Club, what would you call it?

The Book Club - Revealed

Any additional comments?

The book was a nice surprise. Initially I wanted to return the book. After a few chapters I was drawn into the storyline and the characters.
