This book was one of the best autobiographies I have ever read or listened to. Spoto is incredibly engaging and innovating in the telling of Taylor's story. The narrative is well researched and well written with an emphasis on a historical context of Taylor as well as her family, which I found very interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook and look foward to listening to it again in the future.

The story was interesting, but had so many plot lines and interjections into the narrative that I found myself confused and frustrated more than once, as well as lacking motivation to keep listening. If you are interested in the WWII era, you may like the attempt at historical fiction, but overall was not impressed.

I love the Christy story. Have enjoyed the TV/ movie series and thought it was brilliant to bring Kellie Martin in to narrate, who was the original Christy on screen. Could not say a bad thing about this collection. Wish there were more.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal ( Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....

Enjoyable listen. Enjoyed the narration, though was a little confusing to follow when the character vocal tones were not consistant. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Excellent. For anyone that loves Downton Abbey the TV series and has been thrown into Downton withdrawals after the end of last season, it is a must listen. And gives great insight into the details of how the house and family would have run in that time.
