The Space Barons is the story of a group of billionaire entrepreneurs who are pouring their fortunes into the epic resurrection of the American space program. Nearly a half century after Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, these Space Barons - most notably Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, along with Richard Branson and Paul Allen - are using Silicon Valley-style innovation to dramatically lower the cost of space travel and send humans even further than NASA has gone.

There's nothing new or revolutionary in this book that isn't covered well in the news. Felt like a waste of time, but I was sitting in traffic listening so I guess I broke even.

I created this audiobook to be a supplement to books like The Lean Startup and The Startup Owner’s Manual. Without rehashing too much of what they’ve taught, this is a tactical guide to practicing customer development. Many entrepreneurs and corporate innovators know they need to be practicing customer development, but don’t know how to do it in a way that will help them build awesome products.

Would you try another book from Mike Fishbein and/or Steve Barnes?

The narration couldn't save Fishbein from being Fishbein and talking about Fishbein.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure yet.

How could the performance have been better?

I didn't listen long enough, but I started to hate Steve Barnes because he became Mike Fishbein.

What character would you cut from Customer Development for Entrepreneurs?

All of them.

Any additional comments?

As an entrepreneur who has a subscription element to the business, having it presented in such a manner made so much sense and has allowed us to change our trajectory going forward. Just picked up Built to Sell to listen to next.
