After reading (hearing) each Grisham novel, I am convinced that it is his best work. That holds true for "The Testament", narrated by Frank Muller.
The protagonist pulls himself up from the lowest point of his life when he is relegated to find a missing heiress, and embarks on what becomes a life changing adventure.
This is Grisham at his best, and another masterpiece for Frank Muller (sure do miss him).

Why we think it’s a great listen: There’s no gentle way to put this – Frank McCourt’s performance of Angela’s Ashes is just better than the Pulitzer Prize-winning book. Frank McCourt shares his sometimes heartwarming, sometimes heartbreaking story of growing up poor, Irish, and Catholic in the Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir Angela's Ashes.

I was immediately captivated by Mr. McCort's wonderful speaking voice, which completely drew me into the narrative of his childhood. The subtle humor of this man sprinkled over the adventures and tragedies of his childhood brought laughter and tears, and a vivid comprehension a life beginning in such abject poverty. I recommend this book to anyone who appreciates a historic reality lesson, or has ever or never known love or despair or poverty. Frank McCort is living proof that there is hope for us all!!
Mr. McCort is a marvelous writer and story-teller, and I intend to read every word he has ever written.

What a wonderful story! I found a new side to this multi-faceted author--romance! And who could possibly have read this better, with all the right inflections, pauses, and emphasis, than Stephen King himself.
This masterpiece would make a fabulous unabridged screen-play if Mr. King himself converts it from book to movie.
I am forever amazed at Mr. King's ability to cast the reader into the psyche of each character, and to stimulate the mind's eye to see every detail of the story.

A dark and sweeping adventure, Dreamcatcher is set in the haunted city of Derry - the site of Stephen King's It and Insomnia. In it, four young boys stand together and do a brave, good thing, an act that changes them in ways that they hardly understand. A quarter-century later, as grown men who have gone their separate ways, these friends come together once a year to hunt in the woods of Maine.

This is right up there with my other favorites, "The Dark Tower" series, and "Bag of Bones". As always with King's written words, my mind's eye could visualize every detail, every scene, every face! The character development was marvelous! This thriller kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
