What did you like best about this story?

I like the Max isn't your "typical" cheerleader. She also isn't doing the kind of cheer most people know about. It make for a fun and unique story

What about Emily Holz’s performance did you like?

She was really believable as Max. I felt like I really was listening to Max talking the whole time!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Cheer just got a lot tougher"

A great book, a well done audio book, and I can't wait for more!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! This book is an amazing look at relaxation and calming down for anyone, not just people who deal with extreme panic attacks and anxiety. I think people who have day to say stress can even learn a lot!

What about Jennifer Dorr’s performance did you like?

Dorr did a great job bringing this book to life. Her tone was top quality, easy to listen to, and a wonderful expression of the book!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I was on a road trip to Seattle and back and thanks to traffic and some construction there was a LOT of time spend in the car. It gave me the chance to listen to a lot of books and really take in a lot of advice and ideas. This book was just one of the ones I listened to, and like the others it gave me a lot of things to take away!

Any additional comments?

I think this book is a good book for anyone. Don't just read it if you have anxiety at a "high level." The advice can be used for people who have one small high stress situation or even reoccurring stress that needs to be managed. The thoughts and points made in this book are very applicable and will be put to good use for me at work for sure!

Would you listen to Social Anxiety again? Why?

Yes. I don't personally deal with this issue, but after listening to another book by Jenifer Alison I gave this one a try. It really helped me see the other side of social situations, and I feel like what I learned will help me in working with the kids at camp that I am with every day. Now I can understand them better and what they are going through, even thought this book was for adults.

What other book might you compare Social Anxiety to and why?

I actually listened to a few book by Alison over the course of my weekend, and they are all top quality. Her work is amazing and I could recommend it to anyone!

Have you listened to any of Susan Kruth’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I listened to her, but it was really enjoyable!

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

This book really opened my eyes to what it is like for people with social anxiety. I don't have this struggle, but in seeing it I think I can help to understand how others feel and also make sure I am not causing more problems for someone going through this. I have a few introvert friends and this helped me to understand them a lot more!

I picked this book up on a whim since I was on a road trip to Seattle and back, and have been on a really big self help and non-fiction kick. I get this one to try it out, and it was really informative and interesting, although not quite the book for me. It is for sure still 5-stars, since it was well written and I enjoyed the narration. I don't know that I got as much out of the book as some of the others I have heard recently, but I feel like some of the stuff that is in there would be perfect for one of my friends to hear! I think the book is written in a way that will really help her. So, although it wasn't something I walked away from feeling changed I feel like it is just what my friend needs to hear to really help here in some things she is going through!

If you could sum up The Zero Waste Home in three words, what would they be?

Smart, helpful, creative!

What did you like best about this story?

The thing I really enjoyed about this was that it was practice. It didn't tell me to do things that were impossible for someone on a budget, and most of them were things I could do without too much thought of changes in my life. They were like baby steps that helped to get a goal accomplished, and I really enjoyed that!

What about Annette Martin’s performance did you like?

Martin has a really easy to listen to voice that was clear and easy to understand even when I pushed the speed up to 2x. I really love that, since it meant I got to listen to the book quickly on my drive out of town yesterday, and still have time for another book!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It gave me a lot to think about and try. I will be making these changes for sure over the next few weeks and see how it effects my life and the waste I create.

Any additional comments?

I think this is an area that a lot of people should take an interest since it will effect the world we live in more and more as years go by in either a positive way by limited waste, or in a negative way by continuing to go as we are and leave a damaged world for the next generation!

Where does Waste Free Kitchen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book, much like many of the other books I have been listening to lately, is brand new to me. I have not tried a book in this style, but I love it. I have read a few blog posts on this subject, but never a whole book that really covered everything in such a great way. I loved the way the book helped me to see the potential in making my food not go to waste, and also my money to stretch even farther!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Waste Free Kitchen?

For me everything that related to me saving money was perfect. I often spend money on food and then can't finish it in time or don't know how to make it last. This book has me trying new things already!

Have you listened to any of Sharon Wilkinson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I have listened to Wilkinson, but her voice was great for the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Go Green and Save Green!"

Any additional comments?

This book is just a great tool for people on a budget to have. I also live in an area where reducing waste is a big goal. So, I am certain I will be able to share this book and also what I learned from it with a lot of people!

What did you love best about How to Keep Your Relationship Exciting?

I have been on a bit of a Kate Anderson reading kick lately! I started reading some of her stuff and just can't seem to get enough! After reading about how to get over a bead break up I decided it was time to see how to do it right next time. So, I gave this book a try and love it. It gave me so much to think about and apply to the future relationships.

What did you like best about this story?

I really liked how it seemed to give practical advice that I can see and use and work. I feel like it helped me to see ways my last relationship went wrong, and how to make sure the next time I do everything a little better. This is like my new life goal book right here!

Have you listened to any of Pam Rossi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Rossi was easy to listen to! I actually listed to it earlier and was so tired I though I was going to fall asleep, but Rossi kept me engaged and listening. I have listened to a lot of books recently and Rossi is top quality for sure!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It gave me a lot to think about and share with a friend who is having some drama in her relationship. I am so excited to really apply this to my love life and see how it helps my friend as well!

Where does Getting Over a Breakup rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I don't think I have really listened to a book like this, but I am glad I finally did! I went through a rough break up about two years ago and my friends wanted me to read "He's Just Not That Into You" for a while. But I refused. It felt like a slap in the face. So, still feeling a little down about it after all this time a friend mentioned this book to me. I gave it a try and I am so glad I did!

Who was your favorite character and why?

There were not really characters....just GREAT advice!!

Which character – as performed by Rebekah Amber Clark – was your favorite?

Again, not really characters since this was non-fiction.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Right from the beginning I felt brought in and comforted by the book. It was like the author understood what I was going through and how I was feeling. It was perfect and amazing and made me trust all of the advice that was coming my way. And it was a lot of advice that I can really apply!

Any additional comments?

I never thought I would turn to a book to give me a pick me up from my horrible mess of a relationship. But I am so glad I did! It really helped me to come to terms with some things and make a game plan for my future. This book was wonderful without making me feel worthless and I am so happy I was told to check it out!

Sister READ THIS!

What other book might you compare How to Find Your Dream Job to and why?

I have not read a book like this before, and actually read/listened to it for my sister. I wanted to give it a try before I told her to read it....and boy does she need to read it! She is in a job she does not like and needs to work on finding a job that makes her happy and that she is good at. This book gave so many practical things for her to apply to her life and her career to make her work life better and more fulfilling!

What about Phil Rybinski’s performance did you like?

Rybinski's voice worked well with the material and it was easy to listen to him. I liked his tone and inflection throughout, and would gladly listen to him on other books as well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The whole book I just sat there going 'YESSSS" over and over, knowing things applied to my sister! She literally NEEDS this book, and now I just need to make her listen to it. I might need to play a road trip and play this the whole way! haha

Any additional comments?

A great book that will hopefully help many people.....especially my sister!

Reviewed: 04-28-16

What made the experience of listening to 100 Positive Morning Thoughts the most enjoyable?

I really liked the overall theme of this book. I am not a morning person AT ALL so I thought it would be fun to give this book a try. I listened to another book similar to it, and now I'm on a bit of a self-help kick, and this one was great!

What did you like best about this story?

I really enjoyed that the 100 thoughts were easy and applicable. I will be using a bunch of these as we drive to Seattle super early with my friends this weekend. It will not be a fun drive since it's so early, but this has me looking forward to it! Also, this will be great to use with the summer camp staff this year on early morning meetings!

What about Kristy Jo Winkler’s performance did you like?

Winkler had a really good tone to her voice and it made listening easy and effortless. I could listen to her for hours and not get bored!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from 100 Positive Morning Thoughts?

So many of these thoughts were perfect for me. I would write a favorite, but I feel like I would have to list 20 and then people would get so much of the book just from this review! So no spoilers...just know that this book is wonderful!!

Any additional comments?

I really liked this book, and as I said I am now in a hard core self-help book kick! I don't usually do non-fiction, but I have listened to this and one other yesterday and now I am diving into even more today! A great way to fill the mindless cleaning and organizing I am doing at work!
