Yes, the narrator was great, not perfect. But nothing would go against the immensity of the book. I know, I know, there are longer books out there, but about the same topics? I guess if you really want some in depth stuff about one particular topic, you can go for a more specific book that lasts for about 6 hours or so.

But if you want to know all the basics, definitions, benefits, and the most important aspects of each of these sub-topics, a box set like this is the best option. That's how I see it. In my case, it was the perfect match. I wanted to learn about it all, but didn't want to buy each book individually or spend hours and hours on each topic. So to have 11 books of each about 40-60 minutes devoted to something like that, was ideal. Thanks for putting these books together. I enjoyed it!

This book is excellent for students at University who want to learn but not read. Listening to an audiobook (I mean, the price is pretty affordable), can save you so much time and a headache of having to force yourself to read all that stuff. Audiobooks is where it's at, and this one is complementary to my studies. Just what I was looking for.

Glad I found this

With getting 1 credit per month, I am glad I can spend it on a 25 dollar book that lasts for about 10 hours. I think I saw these individuals books in the audible store too, but ended up calculating how much it would cost to buy all those things individually.

About the book itself:

Some of the books are about disorders, like Tourette's Syndrome, Anorexia, or Aphasia. Since I don't have those disorders myself, the most important insights were those of understanding how the mind works and what can be wrong with it, as to comprehend and empathize with those who DO suffer from these things. Aside from that, it's easier to recognize too, so that's a plus.

The books Amygdala, Phobias, and Emotional Resilience were genius. I loved them so much that I would recommend them to everyone. Those books give you an emotional boost, help you understand yourself better, and create some emotional toughness with the power of words.

I knew about the kids prostitution problem in Thailand. Now it just became clear where they come from, what can be done about, etc.

It was full of harsh worth, but reality hit me, like that movie with Nicholas Cage, and the ugly, dark world behind porn came to reveal itself. I can see now why it's worth staying away from porn and I also noticed the tips and methods to help others change their ways when they're trying so hard.

With all the methods out there, I think this book definitely adds something to writing skills and techniques. The author teaches to rewrite, to form plots, to consider the audience, and to use certain tools nobody else has been thinking of. Wow. He must be very experienced. Hoping to see more.
