I liked the narrator on this book. The first book narrator was so awful, and I was hoping the next two books would be better. I was not disappointed.

Finally...a male narrator that doesn’t change his voice to be obnoxious and shrill. Most male narrators grate on me with their valley girl interpretation of a female character.

The story is okay. Entertaining enough, not amazing or very memorable. But fun enough to pass the time.

I’m not even sure if it’s a good story or not. The narrator is so monotone and robotic it’s painful. I’m not sure if the 5 star reviews on her performance are personal friends of hers, or what. It’s positively awful. I likeCatherine Bybee books, so I’ll have to read this series if I really want to enjoy it. This audio version isn’t for me.

I couldn't listen. I turned it off after 45 minutes. I'm not sure if it was that she sounded angry, or if she just over annunciated everything, but I could not focus on the story. I have never done that before. I'll read the book.
