For Rose Gardner, working at the DMV on a Friday afternoon is bad even before she sees a vision of herself dead. She's had plenty of visions, usually boring ones like someone's toilet's overflowed, but she's never seen one of herself before. When her overbearing momma winds up murdered on her sofa instead, two things are certain: There isn't enough hydrogen peroxide in the state of Arkansas to get that stain out, and Rose is the prime suspect.

This is the first book in a series, its starts right off with action. Rose lived a sheltered life and her mother was abusive to her because she had a superpower she inherited. She had visions she couldn’t control. There’s a murder and her whole world is flipped upside down, then there is the underworld of Fenton County. How does this innocent girl evolve herself and find herself in so many messes. I
wont give anything else away but this is a page turner you wont be able to put down.

The telegram Samantha Sawyer Rodriguez holds is her key to freedom: her late uncle, Ezra, has left her his ranch in Sweetwater Springs, Montana. At last, she and her young son will have a true home, and she can finally pursue her dreams of raising her prized miniature horses and building a sanctuary for wayward orphans. Prosperous rancher Wyatt Thompson has long coveted that river property. It’s bad enough that Ezra’s niece refuses to sell it, but worse by far that she’s stubborn, proud, and beautiful.

Stepping off the train in Sweetwater Springs, Montana, Elizabeth Hamilton is filled with relief, nerves, and the thrill of hope. Life on her dear friend’s ranch will be very different than Gilded Age Boston’s high society. But at least here, Elizabeth is far from her spiteful sister-in-law and the bittersweet memories of her late fiancé.

Nick Sanders has loved Elizabeth since he first glimpsed her portrait - not that he dare admit it. A ranch hand has no call to woo a well-born lady, especially when she’s being courted by the town’s finest gentleman. Yet there’s something in her mix of courage and compassion that won’t let Nick quit.

Lina is my favorite mail order bride. Her warm and loving heart and of course her minestrone soup makes my mouth water every time she mentions it. Moving west and marrying a man of another religion, cares for his son like her own. You will fall in love with the characters and the bond of having females friends who share their same experiences of marrying a man from the west and moving to Montana territory. A simple time with many hardships, a historical romance that will captivate your mind and heart.
