Did you want a pat little ending about Jonathan and me riding off into the sunset? Did you want flowers and stars? Man, I wish it was all soft filters and violins. I wish we could fight about who cleaned the bathroom or who was cooking dinner. But I knew I was never destined for simple contentment. I almost committed murder for him. I almost tore us apart to save him. How do you get back on the horse after that? Because, I promise you, nothing is the same. Nothing.

A week in Las Vegas and she will feel better about herself. At least that's what Dacotah Miller is hoping the case will be. Left at the altar, heart broken and ashamed, Dacotah takes the opportunity - the chance to get away - offered by her girlfriends; the opportunity to escape her mundane life in the middle-of-nowhere Wisconsin. But what Dacotah doesn't know is that lurking in Las Vegas is the chance of a lifetime, a dream come true, in the form of Derek Hunter.

For Sophie Scaife and her husband, billionaire Neil Elwood, coupling the domesticity of marriage and their steamy games of dominance and submission comes naturally. Rekindling their sinfully kinky affair with an old flame makes their passion burn hotter than ever, and Neil's lust for Sophie is matched only by his drive in undertaking an ambitious new philanthropic venture. But in the wake of Neil's greatest triumph comes a staggering life change that neither of them is prepared for.

The one was a tuff listen not because it was a bad story but because how emotional it was.
I cried a lot with this one but will definitely listen to it again in time.
