Where does I Am Pilgrim rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 5 without a doubt...and I've listened to a lot.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I Am Pilgrim?

The rapidfire questioning in the "theater of death"

Have you listened to any of Christopher Ragland’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think I have once or twice. But I liked it a lot. He sounds a little bit like Kirby Heyborne who did Nick in the Gone Girl audiobook.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

If you want to be free..

Any additional comments?

The other reviews are right that there is a lot of backstory and character development in the beginning, but I did not find it to drag at all. In fact, all of the individual stories were interesting and exciting. Never came remotely close to getting bored. Having all that character development really sets up the events that follow and it's just perfectly done.

Would you listen to Lethal again? Why?

Absolutely! It kept me guessing throughout and the narrator was amazing as usual.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lethal?

The tattoo discovery

What about Victor Slezak’s performance did you like?

His portrayal of Honor as a strong, practical woman. And he did a pretty good child's voice too! As usual, he makes main male character hot.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Who is your book keeper?

Any additional comments?

This one goes up there with Envy and Mean Streak. Loved it.

If you could sum up Play Dirty in three words, what would they be?

Far-fetched, sexy, "beach read"

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Most interesting: The method by which Laura's husband insists upon for conception and the reasons for it
Least interesting: Laura's husband's OCD

What about Victor Slezak’s performance did you like?

He is just such a great Sandra Brown narrator, especially because he doesn't make the women sound like weak damsels in distress. And he does a fabulous job making the main male character sound sexy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. And I nearly did. It was too short.

Any additional comments?

This book would have been much better if there had been more character development. It seemed rushed and almost too easy in the end.

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Unfortunately, no. I was so looking forward to listening to this series because of how many rave reviews it has been getting. But I just could not get through it because of the narrator. I will be reading it instead.

What did you like best about this story?

The blossoming romance.

What didn’t you like about Davina Porter’s performance?

The snoody British accent. I usually love British narrators but this one made me feel like I was being read to by an American woman giving her best attempt at an old-school British maid. It just ruined the characters and made the protagonist seem flighty.

Did Outlander inspire you to do anything?

Head to Barnes and Noble for the hard copy

Any additional comments?

Looking forward to reading it!

By the time her husband Jeff, miffed over a recent argument, reports her missing, the trail has grown cold. Literally. Oh my gosh the narrator....unbelievably sexy. His voice plus the unexpected twists and motives each of the characters have just makes this an amazing package.

When he appears on the patio and the first love scene

What does Jonathan Davis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He completely brings the mystery man to life with that deep, sexy voice.
