A goldfish named Ian is falling from the 27th-floor balcony on which his fishbowl sits. He's longed for adventure, so when the opportunity arises, he escapes from his bowl, clears the balcony railing and finds himself airborne. Plummeting toward the street below, Ian witnesses the lives of the Seville on Roxy residents.

I loved this book. Took me a few minutes to get it and what's happening but ended up listening to it start to finish in 2 days, even while shopping. The entangled life stories of the characters was so neat and well described. And all with the fish too! I loved it!

Although the story of the Cartel is sometimes complicated due its nature, the book is phenomenal! There is depth of characters, great stories and heartbreaking brutality. Although the book is fiction, the author was a journalist prior and has very good background of the cartel and what they are capable of.
The reader is the best I've heard yet!! The voices of all the characters were so good, he did an impeccable job with emotions, voices and the whole reading. I really enjoyed this book even when it was hard to hear during some violent parts.

When it comes to health, there is one criminally overlooked element: sleep. Good sleep helps you shed fat for good, stave off disease, stay productive, and improve virtually every function of your mind and body. That's what Shawn Stevenson learned when a degenerative bone disease crushed his dream of becoming a professional athlete. Like many of us, he gave up on his health and his body...until he decided there must be a better way.

Love the podcast and the book was also amazing. Shawn's voice is so soothing and he's funny and super smart. He backs up his statements with research so it's science based not just made up. I kept thinking that Jade would just start talking since I'm used to the podcast but it was great. How do I get the pdf of the 14 day sheet?

Initially dismissed by US President Barack Obama, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has shocked the world by conquering massive territories in both countries and promising to create a vast new Muslim caliphate that observes the strict dictates of Sharia law. In ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror, American journalist Michael Weiss and Syrian analyst Hassan Hassan explain how these violent extremists evolved from a nearly defeated Iraqi insurgent group into a jihadi army of international volunteers who have conquered territory equal to the size of Great Britain.

It's an extremely complicated topic and organization that the book is very hard to follow. The author does a great job trying to make it comprehensible but for people that don't follow it too much, that's just not possible. I tried. I really tried but couldn't finish it.

It pulled strings at my heart and made me ask me self questions that I haven't thought about. It's beautiful, romantic, could very well be real, and we can all put ourselves into Lou's shoes. I loved listening to this story. The performance of the readers was amazing! They gave tone, emotion and realism to the story. Now I'll have to watch the movie and see if it will be this good.
